At 35, no thanks. Liam Moore should be back soon plus we have other cover. Understand he is not a centre back but if we are a bit skinny at the back there are probably better quicker options to be had.
What so now he wants to `carry on playing`? He spent 4 seasons on CFC´s bench or playing in lge cup games v div 1 & 2 teams. No thanks from me. At 35 ? & what does he want per week ? We need players that have prem experience yes, but ones that can give us 3 years or so. I used to like him as a player when he 1st went to CFC though. Shame he ain´t 30.
Quick, someone tell Twitchy Rednapp, he will sign him up like a shot. Offer him 60k a week 3 year contract. Will fit in perfectly with Clint Hill and Richard Dunne in the back 4.
In theory I'd have him, but he's totally not Pearson's type of player, don't know why the newspapers bother sticking us in on these stories.
