I definitely get it, and I have no problem with Adel's stance. Poorly worded by me. I know it's not like we had much hope of getting him to drop divisons. But I don't like the way he's been made the scapegoat by Redknapp right back from when we were relegated up until when Fulham wanted rid. Redknapp has been pretty clear there was no way back for Taarabt. Then he goes out and signs a similar type character. Doesn't exacly practise what he preach was my point, I think
http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/feb/13/ravel-morrison-join-qpr-loan-west-ham Ravel is expected to sign next Friday to coincide with the regulation that a player can sign on loan for a maximum of 93 days. If he signs next Friday he would be eligible for the Play Off Final
I dont think anyone (except an insider) truly knows the process that went on last summer. Was it Harry, throwing out players ? Who would have benefited, certainly not the club. And there were many, I think we all agree were taking the club for a ride. Or would there have been a frank and open discussion between Harry and the individual player, whether they wanted to stay and fight for a place and the team and the club !! Sure Harry would have had pre-conceived ideas on which players he wanted to stay, and Joey, I think is a perfect example of a player, that may have been on the way out, but Joey decided he wanted to come back, and Harry/TF were convinced (in this case)
Is this Adel II - From the Guardian below: But Morrison has tested the patience of the West Ham manager, Sam Allardyce, with his attitude, which has reflected a theme of his career and reinforced his reputation as a difficult player to manage. His last appearance for West Ham came on 21 January in the Capital One Cup semi-final second leg against Manchester City. Redknapp appears to be taking a calculated gamble, although he has reasoned that it is only a three-month loan â the Football League allows loans up until the end of March â and he enjoys trying to coax the best out of temperamental players. He needs a creative lift, with the top scorer, Charlie Austin, expected to be out until April with a shoulder injury and the winger Matt Phillips out for the season with a fracture to his leg.
Adel ll, is all new, allow us the chance to love him or hate him, rapped him or bake him, For he will either be god like or fold, score some or be told .................. on your way son, with the passionate fans we have, you have been told.
