I don't ever remember being told to look up into trees when I was learning to drive, more "keep your eyes on the road" and "check your mirrors constantly". Gazing up into the sky would be tantamount to dangerous driving in my view (although will admit to doing it when I see an interesting feathered friend flying by". I feel sorry for the kid, just an unfortunate accident. Who would have been at fault if he had just fallen off into an empty road? The Tree?
It sounds as if our head coach is not one to be messed with according to Troy Deeney. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/460100/Giuseppe-Sannino-loving-Watford-challenge
No reasons given - I wonder if it's because he has been used rather sparingly since his return - or whether he simply wasn't needed any longer. Now awaiting news of Park and/or Renegie leaving too...
We've got the latter on a long term contract. Park sounds like he might play tonight with FF injured.
Lost tonight against Liverpool - 2-0. As you might expect we were outclassed particularly first half with the pace and movement of Liverpool. Certainly got a foothold into the after the break and had a couple of half chances. Class did tell in the end though. Nasty tackle on George Byers at the end - had to be carried off so might be serious which would be a shame as he is one of the best in the group.
Hope he doesn't get injured. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/11021120.Anya_retains_Scotland_place/
Not necessarily. It may fall into the category of 'every case is different' - the recovery time varies greatly. I've suffered from it before - it stopped me from playing squash for around six months from memory, then disappeared for years. I know of people who have fully recovered after a month, and one other for whom it flared up every time he tried to play any sport, even after extended breaks away from sport. I do feel for him as I know how bloody painful it can be...
Well this is an old article - from a month or so ago but claims to be updated but I cannot see the difference tbh. I also had this when I was recovering from one of my Achilles ops but it went away; I have heard of many people developing bone spurs which obviously don't go away without the bone being cut off or 'sanded' down (for use of the proper medical term!) - either way it is an awful long time to be out for this injury without other issues and complications involved.
Yes, last night only a few of the lads got in the game and I did wonder if they were playing to orders not to lose their shape 1st half as there were few runs into space etc - rather tactics to limit Liverpool down the flanks but it was just bringing them on to us more and giving a high % of posession to them. Against Norwich we were far more fluid with excellent 1st touch control and one touch passing. Last night there was little of this but I hope it did them good. Nearly 2,000 crowd btw
Ekstrand has been called up for Sweden whilst Murray is a nomination for the Irish Young players award (of the year)
Signed Lucus Neil. He is 36 and a bit of a hot head..experienced though and played at this level before.
