Game might not go ahead yet.

Two more 'weather events' due before kick-off Monday night.

Playing a stronger side than our normal cup side? ie with 2 or 3 of our regulars.

It's not that hard to work out...

Livermore, Aluko and Elmo. Maybe Brady.

I would have picked Rosey, but I don't know the extent of his injury.

I would have considered one of the new strikers but they are blocked by that outdated cuptie rule.

I'll disappointed if we don't have a go in the Brighton cup match.

Put a strong team out please Brucey.

I definitely expect Brady and Aluko to start.

Will Rosenior be fit enough to start? Or at least feature? I think we might see Conor Henderson in for Livermore, if Spurs decide to be ****s about it (not sure how they could, but it's Spurs.)

They aren't in the cup anymore, really they shouldn't care.

If we put out our strongest team hoping to get a favourable draw in the next round and hope to win that with our strongest team we will still have a ****e attacking threat ( who were incapable of scoring goals at top level )against stronger opposition afterwards so I can't see us as being the next Wigan.
Premier league first F.A. Cup a nuisance to be savoured.

We can still put out a competitive squad without playing most of the regulars. Davies and Hudd should both be rested. Unless Rossy recovers theres no alternative to Elmo. Start Aluko and give him at least 60 minutes to build up his fitness. I'd play Figueroa and leave him out for the Cardiff game...so

    Harper

    Elmo Faye Bruce Figueroa

    Aluko Meyler Quinn Brady

    Sagbo Fryatt

McGregor Davies Livermore Boyd Koren Martin Henderson

Have Aluko and Fryatt ever played a game together?

And don't forget Brighton may also field a "weakened" team http://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/11007823._/

Maybe one or two before Fryatt's injury. I know Aluko missed the first game or two because of the delay in international clearance we had with him Jak due to their contract situations.

True. But a 6th round/Qtr Final home tie would be a perfect time to have one.

Your the clueless muppet Hat. <doh><doh> I never said wing back and positions can change during the game. You really do need to ask an adult about football matters.<ok>

    Really?

So who's playing wing back then? Fryatt? Boyd? Or are you suggesting Bruce at right back with Faye as a lone centre half? Which would be even more cretinous than playing Koren as wing back.

I suggest you think what you say before contradicting what you've already said, you senile buffoon.

What a clueless muppet you really are <doh>

They both played in the League Cup game with Rotherham at the KC which we won on penalties. Fryatt and Proschwitz up front and Aluko on the right. Fryatt got injured in that game and didn't play until the end of the season, by which time Sone was injured.

God I need to get out more!

I'd wager that for a footballer 2 and a half days physical rest won't be much of an advantage.

These are prime athletes don't forget (Fryatt aside).

However, it's 2 and a half days less training, in which you'll have less chance to counter Cardiff's style of football et cetera.

A somewhat second XI could still be enough to topple Brighton, but would you want to risk that? Am I right in saying that it's the quarters next? Have you been that far before? This is a major chance to win silverware, I wouldn't want my side cocking it up.

Good luck, i'm rooting for you to win it.
