Napoli battered Roma 3- 0 last night the second leg of the Coppa Italia looking dead and buried in the 1st half of the 1st leg ,always positive when it comes to predictions but they are another level compared to Carduff & Stoke , we'll do well to get a result in either leg ,better chance of progressing in the FA cup but the mangers' mantra is to set up to win every game and I can't see that changing in the foreseeable future

Put our best out against Everton , if we win make the FA Cup a priorty and make the first leg of Europa a mid grade competition.Just our luck to face , arguably, the toughest opponent out of the gates in the 2 round so lets only make it a priorty with a good outing in the first leg . The FA Cup would look nice sittiing beside the League Cup when european clubs come visiting for the 2nd season in a row

Big deal! I watched them play Lazio in the league the other day, and they were toothless up front and just managed a 1-0 win, I think we can more than match them, these Italians blow hot and cold, get an early goal and they will soon melt!..............<ok>

I reckon there will be at least4 or 5 changes from the teams that started against Cardiif or Stoke. Just dont see the Fa Cup as a priority. If we were 10 points better off then yes. I know i am in the minority on this, but rather have a fully fit squad to pick from for our next league game.

We're 7 points worse off than this time last season , with a squad ravaged by injuries and the additional games played we're not doing too bad .I think that Monk ,by his own admission will set up to play each agape as winnable ,whether we see that reflected in his team selection we'll see Sunday, our best 11 would do well to get a result at Goodison and with Everton not playing midweek they'll be strong favourites for the win

Whilst I agree with everything you say, I think we should all realise what I have been saying for some time now which is:

We are actually doing better in the league than last season if you take into account who we have played so far !.
We are actually 3 points better off than last season (18 points 1213 Vs 21 points 1314) based on teams we have played this season so far (if you exclude teams who have NOT been there for both seasons):

I totally understate you Nottage -it's not as bad as we think, however - as others have said - I was not enjoying watching us play - we had become one dimensional and boring, and the lack of confidence was growing.

On-loan Lacina Traore will make his debut for Everton in the FA Cup meeting with Swansea, but fellow striker Romelu Lukaku is a week away from a return.
Defender Antolin Alcaraz, who won the FA Cup with Wigan in 2013, has returned to training but is not match-fit.
Swansea forward Michu could make his first appearance since December following ankle surgery.
Strikers David Ngog and Marvin Emnes are cup-tied after playing for other clubs in previous rounds.

What pissed me off, more than the lack of execution of certain players and/or the tactics of Laudrup, was the lack of fight in our players, we got bullied by Oscar at Stamford Bridge FFS!

That's not excusable any under circumstances let alone when you're playing the likes of Chelsea and you can't leave players with the quality of Hazard + Oscar free to create what they want

Get into 'em, f*ck em up!

Change of plans, anyone here going to Everton? I can't wait. Another all nighter. <ok>

    So come on Wilfried Bony.
    Score some goals for Swansea.
    We'll go wild, wild, wild.
    We'll go wild, wild, wild!

    COME ON CITY!

Edit - Whatever team the supreme leader selects we should respect that, we have a tough schedule coming up.

With two or three games each week this month I can't see Monk going into this game unchanged. There will be at least 5 games in the next 2 weeks.

I can see Amat, Taylor, de Guzman and Lamah get a chance. Pozuelo and Jazz should also get a few minutes me thinks. I hope Tiendalli has had his chances. He's not good enough for the PL.

PS! I don't want a draw in this game!!

Agree, a draw would be a nightmare. Hopefully Michu will see some game time today.

Bony on bench too.....not a team to win in my opinion. We will be well beaten.

Agree with most that as been said lads, cant see why we cant win this one we did it to man u. so I cant see why we cant do it again ,There will be changes of coarse bering in mind we play Napoli then Liverpool on sun. A good run in the Fa cup might do the lads good.
