Execution sometimes lacking but extremely encouraging signs I would say in a hostile environment, at times, with conditions which suited Stoke's long ball down to the ground.

We showed immense character to turn it around after conceding the goal and to weather the storm thereafter, we nullified Stoke's aerial threat superbly and it was certainly the best ever performance I can remember from a Swans team at the Britannia stadium and the statistics suggest that's a fact.

Pablo was my MOTM he ran the show for 70 minutes, outstanding player, even better than Charlie Adam. :cheesy: But everyone deserves credit tonight, if not for their execution but for their commitment, it was only a couple of months ago we got bullied by Oscar! Now we're going toe to toe with Stoke, we won the majority of the 50/50's and even defensively it was one of the best performances from Pablo I can remember, he's doing his best to answer any doubters after unsurprisingly feeling slightly saddened by the departure of the man who brought him here but he seems to have got over it already, well being Spanish you'd think he'd be used to it they go through 5 managers a season in La Liga!

Credit to the fans who went up too. Garry Monk's Black & White Army! <ok>

Good post, although I'd have Chico as MOTM.

Great to see Pablo at his best. And the fact that he was the only one not happy to see Ladrup go must mean the whole squad must be behind the current regime.

Some great options in the AM role now with JJS and Michu to come back.

Yes good post but i don't think monk has got everything spot on yet. That will come but at least he has stopped the rot and heading in the right direction. There was a number of candidates for MOM last night imo and that's what i like to see as that means they are starting to play as a team...

In regards to the game plan yesterday we couldn't had been more attacking without being dodgy at the back. Leon + Canas protected the defence & Pablo well.

And there were quite a few contenders for MOTM I suppose. You could had even gave it to Leon again. <ok>
