Only just got brave enough to come on the forum and there's too much to read. Is the general gist that we were gutless pushing for the win and most of the squad, especially Giroud and Jack were toilet? Not united toilet I'll grant you but still pretty bad.

My only positive was that Özil actually looked like he was going for it. Sadly nobody else seemed to be on his wave length.

Only funny thing about last night is the media didn't know who to blame. A draw? Er... who's our fall guy now?

Well since TT is gone hopefully the petty insults and arguing will leave as well.

Haahaha, so true. They were gunning for Moyes or Wenger but sadly for them that result did not help their cause.

None of our mods have ever told TT anything, but they are just itching for someone to reciprocate to him though. Can't count the amount of threads he was the first to make things personal, and go completely psychotic.

Practically every thread he hijacks and makes it about HIM (supreme FAN master race) vs. the "should be ashamed of themselves" non-real fans. I don't think anyone here signed a contract necessitating them to be deluded to be a real Arsenal fan.

The discussions in this board will be much more focused on issues and not posters, without him and his grandstanding. There's plenty enough optimistic posters here who are not nucking futs.

I mean what the **** are you going to discuss around here if not for:
    - what you thought went right X game
    - what you thought went wrong X game
    - which area was weak/ok/strong
    - which players were noteworthy (in either direction)
    - where the team is weak/ok/strong in general, etc.

Not really. I lost count of the times, I deleted one of his posts and told him not to abuse people. Problem is loads of guys on here swear and abuse one another like children (especially after a bad result), and we can't be here 24/7 to stop it, and to be perfectly honest at times, I can't be ****ing bothered to do it either. I do this for free, and I do not really need the hassle, so I when the you lot are in full flow abusing each other, I normally just log out and get on with the real world and let the angry people calm down. Now that one of the chief antagonists has left, I suppose we can expect to see less of this sort of behaviour, but I highly doubt it.

Re TT I think its a shame he has ended Up leaving the forum. He actually had quite a lot of good things to say, unfortunately they got lost somewhere in his superiority complex, just like often the posts some posters on the other side of the fence post get lost in the anger and poor post construction.

None of those who argue on a regular with Tt are any better than him! Where he is wildly optimistic others are overly pessimistic and on both sides it gets personal very quickly. I agree with gent that TT often instigates the personal nature of the conversations when he replies to others! But those others have also on countless times named him and chosen to try and goad him into an argument. E.g. "Oh I can't wait to hear what that idiot TT come so it within now that we've lost so badly" etc....

I also think it's completely pathetic that certain people have chosen to have a sly dig after the point he has said eh is leaving, as if they are trying to get the last dig lol

<laugh> you are speaking to the wrong Spurs fan. I have neer said it had. We are closer to you than we've been in a while (although I must admit I thought you had kicked on again - but jury out on that at the moment).

By the way something I have noticed repeatedly used to bash wenger in this thread is the choice not to bring on any subs bar 1.

Who exactly would you have brought on and who would you have taken off? We whe at ourbe st in the last 20 mins with ozil and Cazorla running the show, so other than benching giroud for bendtner I can't see what exactly you all thought was going to happen from the bench to change the game at a time we looked like we would score.

Given that we are a point off top of the table and have sat top for most of the season id say we have very definitely kicked on from last season when we basically had to have title winning form in the second half of the season to even break into the top 4.

Anyway, to highlight one positive from last night, we managed to keep ANOTHER clean sheet at home. We have not conceded a goal at the Emirates in our last seven games. Impressive in anyone's book.

i would have brought on podolski for wilshere and bendtner for giroud.
both those guys were struggling, and we could have dropped the Ox deeper where he has played well in the past and Bendtner sometimes provides something a little different up front in that he is willing to run in behind occasionally. also podolski has a monster shot on him, and thats what we were reduced to doing towards the end.

Would've taken Wilshere off for Podolski, and OXO could go midfield.

No worries, as the case with Arsenal, we usually end records with disaster, so Munich will probably come ship 3-4 past us.

I'm going 4. We'll start as we did Liverpool. Not being pessimistic just realistic. We'll score a few too though.

Good shout on Podolski for Jack, hadn't considered that option and hadn't seen anyone suggest it during the game (though i didnt read the whole thread). I wanted Podolski on when we where dominating them at the end of the game but couldn't see how to get him on the field without disrupting Ozil and Cazorla who where doing really well or losing Girouds height (which is why i say i could of seen Bendtner comming on). Which is why i could completely see why Wenger didn't change things as we looked like we would score at the end and the most likely candidates to come off for the pod where needed on the pitch.

Good call though and good reasoning. Constructive criticism for the win. :)
