To be fair we have not missed him while he has been out. The game against Spurs was a game made for Jela.......but he has gone now!
Don't agree at all. Had we had the Lukaku of early pre-December in our side at the Lane, I think we'd have waltzed off with the points. Made for Jela? 1 league goal in 14 appearances this season Jela you mean? On current form it was made for Big Vic ffs....
Not talking about form....I am talking about who I thought would have made the difference. Clever movement and instinctive finishing angainst a big battering ram like vic?
Spurs were there for the taking on Sunday & we let them right off the hook due to our total lack of a cutting edge. Lukaku would maybe have given us that, I doubt Jela would.
I really dislike him. He just completely destroys a lot of attacks with ultra-**** decision making and he seems ****ed about 70 minutes even though he's not the sort of striker who chases every ball down. He will be class when he's older but he's frustrating as hell at the moment. I know I'd be gutted if we bought him for £15-£20m, he's massively overrated at the moment. He keeps scoring goals though, can't fault that.
