He needs to move, it's not happened to any of our other players, managers or staff.

    He's too well known unfortunately.

Extremely embarrassing it has to be said and possibly intimidating especially for his fiancee.

Hopefully there'll be an arrest you'd think he'd have some CCTV around his place. If that's where it happened ...

It'd be nice if the OB make a statement hopefully he doesn't keep anything of value or sentimental value in his glove compartment.

They're probably too busy pulling an adult over for swearing in conversation with his mate walking down the street, SWP are useless.

Scumbags, unfortunately it is getting far too common now (in general I mean).
Got broken into a few weeks after moving back to Swansea myself although I have/had no watches worth £3500!
Also the Mrs car broken into last week. Is Garry copying me? ;-)

Thieves will come back when they are familiar with the lay out, it's something the police will tell you to expect, if I was him I'd get some serious security, and Guard dogs that will eat them alive! Maybe a shotgun would be good to, blow the scum to kingdom come aye, take no prisoners, forget the police Garry, get some of the boys involved.................<cheers>

I agree but it's not happening to any of our other players, managers and staff.

You could write it off once, Garry Monk would have as best he could. But twice suggests he's getting targeted and the fact is he is well known.

They should be careful on Gower Road. Close to the farmers. Close to the guns!
My boss has a very interesting security method involving shotgun shells on trip wires for the pikeys that keep stealing the heating oil...

Yes you should be allowed to shoot/stab someone on sight if they break into your home although you would probably get prosecuted for that in this country.

Doesn't make it any better. Also I know Trundle had watches stolen from his house too when he was a player here. Not sure if it was reported in the press though.

Make no mistake the police know who these people are, there is a serious heroin and drug issue in Swansea that is fuelling these crimes, I'm all for getting the boys involved, he'll get bugger all from the police, they are not interested in this crime!...............<ok>

Have SWP released a statement yet?

I'm still waiting for them to check CCTV footage outside Woolworths from when my BMX got pinched 13 years ago. Don't think they bothered to be honest they didn't even call back. :cheesy:

You're not wrong about lack of interest Phil. When I lived in England we got burgled and the rozzers turned up (a day later!). When they asked why I was reluctant to talk to them they heard my accent and said 'ah South Wales Police, no wonder you don't trust us!' - Seriously.

    I didn't suggest that.

Are there usually many break in's in Killay then? It's a nice area by most cities standards. I think he's getting targeted that's all I'm saying hence the 'he needs to move'

I suppose most scumbags live by the mantra 'don't **** on your own doorstep'.
There is quite a bit of crime in Gower/surrounding area. It's all they talk about in the bleedin pubs! ;-)

I could tell you some stories steve, but I'm sure you have your own experiences, though they are fighting a battle with their hands tied behind their back, I have had some discussions with Superintendent Rhodri Williams of the Mumbles police, there's a realist of an officer, good guy!..............<ok>

I reluctantly gave the story 5 stars to bring it to peoples attention.

If SWP get around to releasing a statement or any further information is released get it on here and Facebook ASAP.
