What team would YOU like to start on Sunday?...not what you think Harry will pick.
    This would be mine:

    ----------------------------Green----------------------------
    Hughes-------------Onuoha-----------Hill-----------------BAE
    ---------------------------Henry-----------------------------
    Hoilett--------------------Barton-----------------------Traore
    --------------------Doyle---------Keene---------------------

    Yours?
(It will be interesting to see if anyone's preferred team is the same as Harry's latest offering).

Nice pick but if we play 4-4-2 we need to make sure that we push forward with more players as we did yesterday. We stood much to deep and never managed to endanger Derby´s goal (apart from Hughes header). Especially Krankjcar should get a rest - his performances have been mostly disappointing this season.

Can't disagree much with that Col although I would like to have different options to BAE & Henry. I also don't like the look of our right hand side but can't see any real alternative.

Possibly would consider Krancjar playing between the three & Doyle instead of Keene as i don't think we are suited to a basic 4-4-2, although I appreciate that is not what you have in mind.

Yep, I was torn between my line up and going with 3 central midfielders, although I still wouldn't play Kranjcar as he looks so unfit still.

I'm happy with any 4-4-2 that contains a DCM (unfortunately Henry is all we have) and genuine pace on the wings. As your team contains both I'd gladly go with it. Think Keene deserves a go.

Really feel that Harry has been trying to accommodate certain players (Niko, Barton, Carroll, O'Neill) into the team regardless of what shape it then looks like. Your team above has very clear definition. Protection for the back four and then five players with pace and creativity to go out and at least try and win the game.
    Oh how I wish...............

I think you're spot on about Harry picking certain players simply because he likes them, not worrying whether they are in the correct position or not.

I was thinking about Keane before the Derby game as a possible replacement for Hoilett and was wondering if he could play wide, therefore I would play and would not start with traore as I think he is a better impact player.

Our luck is still holding up:(

Reading FC defender Alex Pearce available for QPR clash after red card is overturned

    Published: 11 Feb 2014 17:301 comment

READING FC’S appeal against Alex Pearce’s red card has been upheld by the Football Association - allowing the defender to play in Sunday’s crunch six-pointer at Queens Park Rangers (live Sky Sports, 3.30pm ko).

Successful appeal: Alex Pearce had his red card overturned

Centre-back Pearce received a straight red from referee Keith Hill for an apparent foul on Benik Afobe in the box eight minutes into last weekend’s 2-0 home defeat to Sheffield Wednesday.

Chris Maguire netted the spot-kick before Afobe wrapped up the victory for the Owls when he punished Alex McCarthy’s mistake in the 58th minute.

But Hill’s decision was hotly disputed by Royals boss Nigel Adkins and Pearce had his red card rescinded at an FA hearing on Tuesday.

An FA statement read: “Following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing today, Reading’s claim of wrongful dismissal regarding Alex Pearce was upheld.”

Adkins was convinced Pearce was not the last defender when Afobe theatrically hit the ground and that Kaspars Gorkss was covering his fellow centre-back.

“Having looked at the video, I’m not sure it’s even a penalty,” he argued. “Alex said he didn’t touch him.”

I'm a big fan of Hill, his commitment to the cause is unbelievable, but for me it should be Onuoha and Dunne at CB all day long.

If Harold is going to stick with 442 then go with the starting 11 against Burnley except maybe Hughes at RB instead off Ned (Obviously Hoilet aswell).....at least we had pace in that side and we set about taking the game to them.

Same as Reading away, fast out of the blocks, we could have been 3 up in 15 mins....

If Harold reverts to 4132 or any variation thereof then Cols side will do nicely....

    This, or

    This.

Struggling to decide between Onuoha and Dunne. Think it would be harsh to drop Dunne, but then againg I always think we should play Onuoha.
And Kranjcar is better for home games than away games.

Both good teams that I would be happy to see against Reading, but I fear another Derby lineup :(

Barton plays too deep to be put in any kind of attacking role imo. I've picked Keane over playing Kranjcar behind Doyle on the basis that I've no been blown away by Kranjcar and wouldn't mind seeing what Keane can do.

This if Harry tries his usual keep it tight and try to nick a win. Much more solid defensively than the team v Derby but at the same time has more pace to hit them on the counter.

    - Green -

    Onouha - Dunne - Hill

    Hughes - Henry - BAE

    Hoilett - Barton - Traore

    - Doyle -

This team is slightly more expansive if Harry wants to go for it.

    -GREEN -

    HUGHES - ONOUHA - DUNNE/HILL - BAE

    HOILETT - BARTON - HENRY - TRAORE

    DOYLE - JOHNSON/KEANE
