From the BBC: FULL-TIME - Arsenal 0-0 Man Utd Boooo. What a poor game. Sounds like they were both scared of losing. That'll do nicely.
"Sounds like they were both scared of losing." I remember Spurs being dismissed out of a CL slot and having nothing to lose, once. Wonder how that worked out ...
From what I saw, Rooney and RVP couldn't have scored tonight if they were on a night out in Chatham. Poor display.
After tonight's results, i think we can safely state that's the end of United's PL season. The pundits have insisted all season they will go on a run but it never comes. Can't see them hauling back an 11 point gap over 12 games. Mata looks out of sorts in that team. Vidic is already on a beach somewhere and the demeanour of the players looks like one of defeat. Moyes simply doesn't have the answers. Oh how the mighty have fallen!
It's worth mentioning that refs were apparently booking Bale when he was fouled because of the "swan dive" action before the contact and that's exactly what Sturridge did there. Still a stupid challenge from Riether. Sounds good. We'll finish above you yet though.. on goal difference too just to rub it in
He's obviously a very good player, but then so is Kagawa and they didn't know what to do with him already. Not sure how you get the best of Rooney, van Persie and Mata in the same side, especially when their best prospect is a winger.
I cannot believe how frenzied the press has gone after 'Pool's lucky win, tonight, against relegation-struck Fulham! It is truly embarrassing. Not a single mention of our chances, of course, even though we had, by far, the more emphatic win.
Manchester United boss David Moyes is considering an approach for Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen and midfielder Mousa Dembele, both 26. (Source: Caught Offside)
Not as lucky as Spurs win at Fulham. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25115756 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26043715
We still hate you Ade so keep scoring mate!!!!!! p.s. Walk over for Liverpool at Arsenal then? Keep falling over......
It looks like reality has finally set in for the Gooners on this site. Just been over to their board, in the wake of the United debacle, and the Gooners are doing their usual trick of tearing strips off each other (given that their mods have banned most non-Gooners). But amid the snarls and juvenile potty-language, there is, at long last, the growing acceptance that they are no longer in a race for the title, but rather they are scraping for 4th spot again. It's good to see, I must say.
