Whilst i agree with you about Giroud, i thought Ozil and Cazorla where our two best players in that second half.

Both were excellent despite the **** game, and with a striker that has a sense for scoring we'd win it comfortably.

I don't blame Giroud for being the player he is, as he can definitely be useful. But his shortcomings as a target man are blindingly obvious.

He didn't exactly get close, did he. Giroud attempted 5 (?) efforts. Does that make him 150% better than Santi? no. Santi is one of my favourite players, but by his standards he was poor today, especially 1st half.

Thought Ozil was superb tbh. He was pulling all the strings, and always went for the aggressive pass if it was there. Look, the only thing wrong with this game was the result, in every other respect, we looked really good IMO.

Disappointing 2 points dropped but we keep ourselves very much in the mix. Our next 4 Prem games are very much winnable so we can establish a good run before the Chelsea-City-Everton games. Those results will determine the title

ah well , at least there is no more ambiguity about it .
The Title will not be ours.

If our ambition doesnt stretch to a win against the worst utd side for a decade at home.

Its not strong enough to win ONE single thing this season .

    FACT.

    goodnight

Now you are just talking more **** to compound your earlier laughable bollocks. Are you fucking pissed?

I never said Giroud was the best, just that he worked hard and was one of our better players in my opinion. I do not think he compares normally to Santi, but Santi and Ozil did not add much going forward. Giroud did. Ozil at best slowed down our breaks when we should have gone at them.

The match today reminded me very much of the Everton fixture at the Emirates last season. No doubt United are turning into a classic Moyes outfit. No creativity, no flair, just grinding workmanlike performances and lots of organisation. Little else.

    doesnt really matter now .

another chance squandered down to lack of French gonads.

Playing for a point at home = runners up.

Arteta and Jack were too static in midfield today and lack of pace hurt us.

Totally agree and as I said earlier reminded me of Palace at home. Unfortunately we didn't quite break them down.

Funny how you interpret that. I could almost see his disappointment in his face when he saw that only option to pass upfront was Giroud. ("nice another 1 touch flick to the side with his back to goal")

Of course he turns around and looks for options from Cazorla and Wilshere.

That cause he had ZERO options in front of him. For Germany and Madrid, Ozil was a killer on the break but here he just does not have players with speed in front of him. Giroud is ****ing turgid, and without Walcott, we lack direct wide players.

I'll grant you that he may prefer other options, so where was Cazorla? At least Giroud was up front. There was one great chance where Ozil should have gone alone, but bottled it.

Sorry but i think you've completely missed Ozil's great performance. He was instrumental in most of our good chances, was comfortable on the ball and always went for the killer ball if it even half presented itself. He had a quality game.

He didn't slow our breaks. No-one was running quickly enough forwar when he had the ball and we went to counter, i could see him at one point desperately willing Giroud to be faster than he is, with Walcott in the team ozil wouldhave had 2 or 3 assists today.

Giroud has missed so many good chances in these sort of games it's unreal. Every time he fluffs his lines. Has still yet to score against any of Man Utd,Man City or Chelsea.
