lfc injuries to starting 11: johnson sakho agger enrique lucas so just the back four and the DM missing from defence
Back on topic, yet on a more serious note, you will no doubt join me in offering sympathy to our rivals over an unfortunate dressing room falling out which seems to have occurred recently. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...st-up-with-Arsenal-team-mate-Yaya-Sanogo.html
I'm guessing you're talking about the Arsenal game but I'm not sure why. Regardless of the result yesterday I'd agree with the Arsenal fans that their midfield and defence are better than yours, I'm not really interested in who had what injuries.
Great match yesterday. You guys showed how to negate the Ar5ena1 midfield, press high and quickly, win the ball and attack quickly, proper old fashioned football. Top marks in the first half, shame you took your foot off the gas a bit in the second half, double figures were not beyond you yesterday.
It's all beginning to unravel for Arsenal, as many of us predicted it would. They simply do not have the class or the leadership to sustain something special. Which is the reason why they haven't won so much as the Milk Cup in nearly a decade of supposedly being at the top. They've even lost the Emirates Cup ffs!
just popped over to the gooner match thread with united... there are some very angry folk over there after their draw...hard to believe they are 2nd in the prem!
Don't worry, you've got a couple of easy cup games up next. Liverpool and Bayern, who won 5-0 away tonight.
Not much to gloat about but it probably shows up their fans as doubtless they mocked us in our 4-0 loss. Bad results happen to all teams at somepoint which is probably a wake up call to Arsenal fans as they seemed to think they were passed an 8-2 style drubbing they had in the not so distant past.
The reason we didn't ship six goals was because our GK isn't thinking about taking selfies during a game. If only they had put Oxo cube in goal after the penalty.
it might all look a little better mathematically, but arsenal face swansea tomorrow, who they should beat. That'll put them 9 points ahead of us. Arsenal then face city at home, which will probably end in a home defeat, but then our next game is away at liverpool, which will be very difficult. I'll be surprised if we get anything from that. Therefore IMO, we'll be 9 points behind them with 6 games remaining. stranger things have happened in football, but it's a lot to ask. Once again, we rely on them slipping up, rather than being control of our own destiny.
