At it again, I went in for a beeney hat and scarf before the game but they didn't have any in stock. Hopefully 3-4 weeks just in time for spring!!! I appreciate it's not all their fault but come on its winter and we carnt get a hat and scarf??
Come on AA how can we supply these fat east markets when we carnt supply Hull?

A bit of imagination wouldn't go a miss in that shop aswell regarding the stuff we sell

I now believe our club shop is being run by a ******ed blind man.

    Who wears clown shoes.

Really? Weird, plenty of beanies in stock when I was there just last week. Odd to think there's been a sudden surge in purchases. Can't really blame them for that sort of thing.

Perhaps they are running the stock down in anticipation of the arrival of new stock with the new badge?

They had the hats with the frilly bobbles and stuff on but not normal beenies.
I'm not sure running your winter stock down in winter and halfway through a season makes much sense....but I'm not questioning AA if that's the case :)

Also running it down in anticipation of a new badge or a new name ?

If that is the case then they're missing a trick cos I'd imagine post any annoucement of a new name then there will be a sudden rush on stock with the old name. If this is the last ever Hull City shirt they'll sell ****loads post said announcement.

I suspect next seasons kit will have a tiger on it, with no text at all.

If the club wait for the FA vote, we won't have a kit ready in time for next season(unless we plan to bring in unbadged shirts and add badges here).

I don't think we can really blame the club shop for this. Adidas have already apologised for being **** at supplying what they were asked for. Clearing a backlog isn't something that happens overnight. When they're producing the amount of tat they are for clients far bigger than us they'll be fitting our orders around the production runs for everyone else.

Adidas make kits and training wear, they have nothing to do with all the other tat that we sell in the club shop.

I think the club need to visit the arsenal, man utd etc club shops for some ideas. An easy way to generate extra income, they've come up with all the ideas we just need to ordet it all with our badge on

These far east markets will never buy owt from our club shops.

We won't sell owt at all our there, as they buy snide local knock off versions of shirts etc

No, our strategy, such as it is, is to pimp out our club with a new appealing (to the undiscerning and simplistic) name in the faint hope that someone at the other side of the world with loads of money and knowing nowt about English football would be tempted to buy into a cute name.

It's really odd how the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea have all somehow managed to get massive foreign investment without resorting to a childish name change.

You can deduce from this that not changing your name gets you big investment from proper investors,

I called in on Tuesday as I had £50 vouchers to spend. Have to say it was absolutely dogshit for choice unless you like (or can fit into) their polo shirt range. Tons of jester hats, a few woolly hats, piss poor choice of scarves and no home kit socks in any size. Other than that it's full of shabby cheap looking tat.

My ex boss is a Wendies fan and I popped in their store to find a secret santa for him 2 Christmas' ago. It's 4x the size of ours and has a far superior range of quality products.

    Lessons need to be learned.

Thats it ive cracked it when we go to arsenal and man u etc theres loads of street sellers selling them but never here and as the club carnt supply them theres a gap in rhe market!!! Im on it

I think that's the type of product that gets stocked when people in charge have no real interest in the club, football as a whole or the fans.

How many people have entered our shop with a view to buying summat and come out frustrated cos there's **** all but shoddy childish tat?
