I reckon we should rest Rickie on Saturday and play Jack Cork up front? Did you see him do some serious damage to the cross-bar from about 80 yds?

Ha ha, hadnt thought of that. My choice would have been to rest him tonight and save him for the Mackems, but hey, what do I know?

We're on an eight game unbeaten run. And what makes me proud the most is that we achieved that mainly without any of our four most expensive signings (Wanyama, Lovren, Gaston, Osvaldo - 50M worth of talent)!

Gonna be my new catch phrase...

Mother: "Do you want a cup of tea, love?"

    Me: "Don't joke with us!"

Mother: "Is that a yes or a no?"

Me: "Er...yes. One and three quarter sugars."

I was trying to be ironic and you are probably right, but now I think about it I'm not so sure he should be.

Yoshida is doing well right now and I don't think its a great message that basically, it doesn't matter how good you play you will be dropped as soon as the preferred player is fit again. It didn't work out with Wanyama/Cork and I think Yoshida deserves a bit of a run. A lot might depend on how well he plays at Sunderland.

Is it a tricky decision for Pochettino or am I talking b******s and of course he should play Lovren if fit?

You make a good point about it not really sending out the right message, but in my eyes Dejan is such a superior player I don't think as a manager I could just sit on my hands and wait for Yoshida to sufficiently cock up. Also you know that if that happened we would all be on here moaning that Lovren wasn't put back in sooner.

Bear in mind the fixture as well, West Ham away. Lovren doesn't really take any **** when he plays so I think I'd be happier seeing him dealing with Nolan and chums.

Mauricio Pochettino: "Our mentality never changes. To win, to keep on winning, keep on winning, keep on winning... and if we keep on winning? Then we can think about keep on winning. That's always our mentality. To keep on winning."

You really should consider betting with Betfair - generally significantly better odds.

Thnaks, though, I wouldn't have thought about it if you hadn't mentioned it. Only a quid but better than a poke in the eye.

Evening lads, well done on your victory it was never really in doubt. We were ****ing terrible but I attribute that mainly to your ability. You pressed us high which drove our midfield deep and then doubled up on our wide men removing that outlet. This made us start to play long ball football which I haven't seen for about 5 years as a city fan, and it's a good job because it really doesn't suit us. The pace you had out wide made it very difficult for us to get decent crosses in and there were no midfielders high enough up the pitch to create for Long or Jela. When Aluko came on we looked very different because he is absolutely magical and bridges the gap between the midfield and attack, him and Brady not playing most of the game made us a much poorer side than we could be.

I didn't think you were outstanding in possession and there weren't too many clear chances but you did enough, Llalana is such a well balanced footballer and you seemed very strong out wide but Lambert didn't really get into good positions and when he did he missed a pretty simple chance.

One thing I would say is that Boruc is an absolute ****. I mean I can just about deal with keepers wasting time all game like he did but there was one point where we gave the ball back to you after your player went down injured and he let it run out for a goal kick to waste more time. I couldn't believe he would stoop to that level of unsportsmanship.

Anyway well done again and good luck for the rest of the season, please beat all the sides below us :emoticon-0150-hands
