Two incredible saves tonight - one in the last minute.

Cardiff would be 10 points adrift without him.

Thought they played quite well 2nd half.

Should have won at a canter.

I totally agree, Cardiff was extremely poor and was kept in the game by their keeper and extremely poor finishing.

Been saying for a while that Marshal might be just enough to keep Cardiff up , great keeper .

tan's arse must be making buttons with the thought of relegation. He wont want to go straight back down that's for sure....But he must realize that cardiff are definitely one of the worst teams in the premiership and have little hope if they continue to play as they are of staying up....Ole i thought would be good but he is clueless and they would have more chance if they had kept malarkey....

No doubt about it, Marshall's saving them points. Excellent keeper.

Alluding to Dai's post, will Tan crack before the end of the season and do something (more) bizarre? This has got to be one of the most entertaining seasons ever in the Prem for many reasons!

They should have stuck to Mackay, but they ran temporarily out of Sam Allerdyce types, employing an intelligent manager (copying what Swansea did 18 months ago). I think Solskjaer is a good choice. But no, he doesn't stand at the sidelines and yells at the team: PL players need that....

OGS Potentially a good manger but a poor judge of character ,if he thinks Tan's not going to be pulling the rug from beneath him then he is naive in the extreme .
Marshall for the start of the season has more than kept them in their games battered against Norwich for example , his reactions are superb and a big club will surely snap him up if they depart the league although Keepers don't seem to have a merry go round existence as much as out field players do

Superb keeper and might keep them up. Cardiff bossed the first half but Villa could easily have won it in the second half. Turner also had a very good game.

Noone put in another good performance, he's fast developing into a dangerous, tricky winner at this level. Puts in a wicked cross as well and I'm delighted he didn't play against us. Big booboo by OSG.

Ole can't even get the players fit mate, at least Malky Mackay knew what he was doing. <ok>

Mutch is knackered mate. The new signings aren't doing it and your players are playing through the pain barrier.

It mostly comes down from training. <ok>
