    With an ageing, increasingly injury-prone squad, to be fair to him. He tried to rebuild, but it can't be done overnight.
    Tbh, his abrasive style was never going to sit well with the senior players in what still, at that time, had a "family club" feel.
    And his awful, baffling decision to do an interview with The S** finally lost him any respect amongst the fans.

    that is fair imo, formed as it was in early teen years.

    i felt his buys really cost him but he had a brief period where we tarted a season ell when some old stagers back in then once they got injured it imploded.


    here... seriously i never asked this question right but as a serious one.. how much do you think john barnes double achilles injury played in LFC demise? if barnes had still been a flying fit winger in say 1992-1993 would lfc have falle so badly?

    but in the end imo he sold beardsley and staunton and replaced with dirt so got what he deserved

    He was crap and to top it all off he sold his story to the s*n and then pretended he didn't know there was a boycott of the s*n from Liverpool fans. Not a surprise he's criticised.

    What the **** will taking them to train in Dubai prove?

    Its like giving them a reward for being ****e, and to make it better February usually means snow so when they get back the ****s will all end up missing games with the flu.<whistle>

    Funny considering they all won the league last year and they added Mata who is definitely an improvement. He is basically not a top top manager. <ok>
