I never said that though. I said it made things difficult for Huddlestone. Which it did.

 

It did, but won't necessarily do so again. It's inconsistent like that.

 

Well we'll see. Considering Huddlestone is one of the least mobile midfielders in the league, I perceive him as particularly vulnerable to it.

If they're fit enough, I think I'd play Wanyama, Chambers and JWP tonight. (Almost said Guly too, but no....)

Keep Clyne, Davis and either Cork or Morgan back for Saturday.

It'll be interesting if Gus decided to do something similar tomorrow. Whilst they clearly need PL points much more than we do, it is a trip to the Etihad. Realistically, is there really any point? Depends on how desperate they are to progress in the FA Cup I guess. Certainly, if I were a Sunderland and it were a home league game on Saturday, I'd be wanting Gus to put a weakened side out tomorrow.

 

Norwich got a point at The Etihad...Sunderland have a chance surely.
