Dont blame Bates for renting offices opposite ER when he has a million still tied up with the club. Also if GFH fail to make scheduled payments to him, I believe he could have waltzed back in!
Think he loaned them them the money back in April so he was still president. Shows they were already struggling to make ends meet just a couple of months after taking over
Probably exaggerates how upset they were at kens private jets... Lends them a million (at no doubt extortionate rates)... Then spends half of it for them on his jets. Just another thing you couldn't make up, to add to the last of things you couldn't make up.
But how many times did Bates tell us that he wasn't going to meet with anyone unless he could see the money first. How many times did he kick off about tyre kickers, chavs, scallies all wanting to come in without any cash ....... Then he sells to the poorest arabs in the world, a bank with no cash and a bank with no customer deposits and with people who all had seperate shell companies registered in tax havens which proves how upstanding and legal they are ..... a bit like Bates really I suppose.
