On the Monday Night Club he was referred to by Mark Chapman as a "cheat". Bit harsh isn't it? I mean, Toure did actually kick him so it's not as though he was making it up (even though we all agree he was making a meal of it)
Toure shouldn't have kicked out - it was plain wrong. If I go out and kick a granny like that it is intentional and aggressive behaviour and I'd expect to be arrested. Toure does it and the FA looks the other way. Bellamy elbows De Guzman - intentional again, aggressive again and gets a rap from the FA - conflicting standards methinks. That said, Wolfy overplayed it and over-reacted - I feared for a few moments that he was going to get himself sent-off having received a yellow a few minutes earlier.
I know his goalscoring exploits haven't exactly set the league alight, OCF, but granny is maybe a tad harsh?
I must say that I didn't really see the incident, but RVW actions of rolling around, and then suddenly jumping up (Lazarus like) and confronting Toure did not reflect well on RVW As said by others it works in our favour,so he can play in fixtures against teams closest to us.
I hope Chapman also called Flores a cheat, who can blame Ricky when he has so many role models on how to influence the referee?
On the Bellers thing, I'm afraid his name always goes before him. He's got a tendency to open his mouth and just let the words come out. He's always been the same. Quite like the guy all the same. Better for guys to say things to your face than behind your back.
