Annoyingly I took Sterling and Figueroa out of my team as they'd been doing bugger all, all season. Then both do this. Figueroa got decent points for his 'assist' and clean sheet.
Poor internet connection so did not see the game this week. May have been better this week but it appears that Figueroa is becoming the Macca of 09, get the ball give it away, get the ball give it away. Saw his assist even there he got stroke of luck in that it deflected off a Sunderland player. Hope he starts living up to expectations at the start of the season, if not that is definitely a postion that will need looking at next season if we stay up
Of all the City players, Figgy? Don;t get me wrong, he had a decent game, but no ****ing chance should he be there in defence ahead of Davies or McShane. Luckily, I have Hazard in my team
it's the just the way the scoring system works, he got accredited with an assist and thus along with the clean sheet get's more points than davies n macca like lloris is in there for a clean sheet and numerous saves made
Not really, it doesn't look like a clear cut assist from Jela. This on the other hand is a shot that loops wildly into the air. Not an assist in a million years.
Over the weekend i have seen Harper - Davies - Huddlestone and Long in the various teams of the week. But Figueroa ??? hhhmmmmm............
Speaking of Davies.... I just got a call telling me I will be presenting Davies with the Player Of The Month Award tomorrow night! Result.
Think some of you are getting confused. This is just the fantasy football team of the week. Points are won on the basis of clean sheets, assists, goals and playing and taken away for yellow cards, red cards and missing penalties. The only baring upon performance are the bonus points which only account for either 1, 2 or 3 points. It is rarely a reflection of performance. Having said that, they do seem to have awarded Figueroa with 3 bonus points (man of the match) which seems a little odd.
Exactly our points, how did he get more points than Davies or God when they were probably better than he was. The assist is laughable, and MOTM is ridiculous.
So much anger because a Hull city player was included in a team of the week ? Have a word ! Personally, i'm shocked Wes Brown wasn't included.
Bonus points this year are entirely from match stats, compared to previous years where it was down to the associated press deciding who'd played best (which always ended up as Rooney, Lampard and Gerrard regardless of performance). Defenders gain a lot of points towards the bonus system for things like interceptions and tackles this year, along with completed passes (including those amongst the back line) so when their team gets a clean sheet there's a good chance of defenders getting some bonus points. Add an assist to that, no matter how fluked, and there's the answer.
Not sure what you're confused about lol, it's a stats based game, nothing subjective about it. He got an assist, a clean sheet, and presumably bonus points as a result of the assist.
