I highly doubt it was 'fairly bad'.

There seem to be quite a lot who can't take a joke down there.

Yup the run in will be a roller coaster ride and lots of fun.
You better hope Twitchy Harry pulls his finger out though and somehow gets you winning again. We may just choke who knows, but it seems that QPR already ARE choking <laugh>. Look a very average side to me.

What Stunning fox has got banned for is laughable

The decision to ban him is as big a joke as QPRs strikers

I aint going to take sides mate as i trust our mods on our page. I've also not read the whole thread as Im at work and just been visiting occaisionally

Safe to say you guys are fairly tolerant as you've had plenty of opportunity to ban me from here. I applaud you for that <ok>

Im not sure we're going to hit this good form that everyone has brought into with the "most expensive team of prem players outside the Prem"
Who-ever came up with that is a total c**k.!!!...but hopefully we can put some wins together to put it back on you lot!

    Roll on Saturday <ok>

Are you insinuating that you're not the most expensive team outside of the Premier League? (In the English football system of course)?

I suppose you'll be keeping your eye on the scores tomorrow.

Burnley have a tough fixture away to Bolton.

Its more to do with the perceived amount of money people think we have spent..less than a lot of teams. but without looking at figures I'd guess we probably pat our players more than most teams in this division?

Ive not even seen the fixtures for tomorrow yet mate but will look when i get a chance.

I think the stick we get about the money thing was brought on ourselves by a small group of idiots that were proclaiming we would hit Europe in a couple of years.
That coupled with Mark hughes spending spree and then recruiting 'Arry was always going to bring us some grief. Probably the same as you guys got when you had Sven in charge.

Anyway off to check fixtures now and if Burnley are at Bolton, then thats not going to be an easy match to call. Burnley can score against any team in this league but not so sure they can defend that well...

You spent 5m on Matty Phillips alone in the summer, thats more than almost every team in the league spent entirely. Then add the fees of Charlie Austin and Karl Henry and your pretty much over the 10m mark. Pretty sure no team spent that much, thats without looking at any figures from the other 20 odd signings you guys made, not being funny but you don't have an excuse of not being backed sufficiently.

You obviously sold Samba for a ridiculously high price which I would imagine covers most of it. I still think your recruitment could've been more astute though and more specific to what you actually needed. My valuation of 'Arry as a manager has gone down a long way since him being in charge of QPR (and in fairness it wasn't that high prior).

I was on the thread at the same time as Stunning but only picked up on the ban this morning ... fair to say that Stunning was wumming (I have no problem with most wumming as most of you will know - we allow it on here - as Queenie's continued presence attests!) ... one of their posters took exception and got quite aggressive ... to which Stunning responded in kind (in terms of personal insult) ... I can't say whether the QPR mod took the whole situation into account before asking for the ban ... if he solely saw Stunning's last comment then I can see why he might ask for a ban ... but in the context of being a response to what seems a fairly thinly veiled threat from the QPR poster (apparently living in Derby) the ban seems quite harsh ... perhaps a warning (even on the thread itself) to stop the nonsense would have been the better option ...

    <applause> This!

"We have spent less than a lot of teams"

You have spent less than Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal... I'll give you those! <laugh>

Let them mod how they like, it may seem a more harsh method, but they obviously feel its the best way to do it, cut the legs off before anything gathers pace.

More rational posts like this appreciated queens <ok>

True Jack ... but the actual comment that brought the ban was...

<laugh> ... now my view is very much that if you dish it out you should be prepared to take it ... and the less than 'delightful' Turkish "Premier" Hoop was more than prepared to dish it out ... sure it needs to get nipped in the bud if it is spiralling out of hand but the ban did feel a little 'hasty' to me ...

I'd be with you Jack .. however the problem with the written word, particularly on a football internet forum, is that it is open to interpretation (mis-interpretation) ..

No one has ever got banned from our board from a few comments. If someone crosses the line they will be warned and if they don't listen to the warnings and continue in the same manner we will then consider a ban. Most bans we have imposed are only for 24 hours before we ask them to be lifted. A "cooling period" has done the job for us quite a few times

A permanent ban especially for a few points on a 1 off visit to another board seems very extreme to me. It might have been their mod wasn't happy with the result and he took it out on stunning fox.

Heavy handed mods killed BBC 606 so mods need to remember that. We're all pretty relaxed mods on our board and let 99% things go. Other when we had the Hull lot it's not been too hard to mod the board. In the past year all 3 mods have had very little to do.

Next year coiuld be different as their is a lot more active boards with the Prem teams
