I agree, we should be looking for a united win, to see if we can catch arsenal, rather than worrying about united. If united close a 9 point gap on us and finish above us then i'm afraid we will also be behind spurs or Everton. I can't see United over taking all 3 teams, and to be honest I'm more concerned about Everton and the spuds than united.
Not only do they have a singing section, they are being told what and when to sing... please log in to view this image ...
I want Arsenal to beat them - but only just, lets keep Moyes in a job! Why? United can never be ruled out of putting together a run of games and I want them firmly penned back. Arsenal are only 5 ahead right now and it should remain so after these midweek fixtures. But their run in is absolutely horrendous and they're sure to slip up some points somewhere; Spurs away, Chelsea away followed by City at home in March and then Everton away and Newcastle home in April. Never mind the games inbetween like us in the cup, Bayern in the CL! 5 points really isn't much with a fixture list like that. We've got tough games, yeah, but most of them are at home and we've got a nice mid-table team away to play in the middle of those to break it up .
Surely everyone wants a draw. Both teams drop points which is ideal. When ever any rival plays each other you want a draw then only 2 points have been picked up rather than 3. We wanted draw from spurs Everton and this is the same for me.
That's logical. However, what a wonderful sight it would be to see them yet further behind us in points and have to admit that they weren't going to catch us and that even the EL was probably beyond them. All that with then 12 games left to go!!!
i just want utd to lose, feel like i should be saying sorry i do, ****s! i want a big a gap as possible, they will get some dodgy decision before season end and could give them some momentum, so no i hope they lose, simples. the bigger the gap the better
Surely people on here can't be worried about the likes of Tottenham, Everton and you know who, pipping you for 4th!! With City and the disgusting ones (Chavs and their vile pig-headed supporters) still to go to Anfield, have faith - you could win the Premiership and why not!! It would be thoroughly deserved!! Trickiest fixture could be at Southampton, but I have a feeling your guys will exact revenge for that home defeat back in September!!
never count my chickens, firstly don't have any now as ruddy foxes ate them, well just bit their heads off really! and 2 utd are still dangerous esp when a wounded animal, pride is a very dangerous thing, and they do have some excellent forwards if they stop doing them crosses and actually play football lol. home result to spurs i reckon will see where we are at, ie clinging on to top 4 or may have a push for 3rd. we always play ****e the game after we have battered someone, just hope they stay focused and don't count their ruddy chickens!
my opinion on this is that arsenal have got to now pick a strong team for the league as we tonked them and my personal preference for a result is 2-2 thats rooney and rvp broken legs and giroud and cazorla cruciate ligament. That would be a pretty good day for LFC. oh and if there is a football match around that 0-0 The worse off arsenal are for the fa cup the better... if our game v fulham is called off i presume we will have travelled down long before and will be back at home tonight so can rest a bit and train tomorrow
we keep assuming something about utd. that they were all good pros and still have the motivation and desire. I think ferguson gone has revealed some players for what they are and i don't actually see them going on any sort of run bar beating the bottom half sides who are all now looking to utd for some points cos their rivals down there have got some. rooney should be leading the way by rights but we are now wondering if he's staying or not again. RVP should be leading them... vidic... oh... hmmm so the senior players look disinterested, the likes of young is back in their team so frankly... i can't see them catching us let alone spurs... maybe everton if the wheels come off up front.. i don't know right now there's a chance that it'll be newcastle catching them not them catching anyone else. At some point us lfc fans have to let the worry go that they will plough by us and put our faith in suarez and sturrdige to fire us to glory! I fancy an FA cup meself.
Agreed. However, as has been pointed out already, there is the potential 'Mirth Factor' of united getting totally dicked
