Sitting here in Dubai airport waiting for flight to Sydney, and just wanted to say we all need to realise that we support the greatest club in the world! Most of us probably know that already, but that two and a half months was an absolutely amazing trip. I've written down my take on all the games I went to in a bit of a journal/blog, which I'm happy to chuck up when I refine it a bit (it's currently about 10 pages long so a pretty decent read). Also just wanted to say a big thank you to the club for everything they organised for me, and of course all the City fans I met along the way who were absolutely brilliant to chat to, not a bad soul amongst them. Onwards and upwards for this brilliant club, I'll be up at 2am each week watching, though it won't feel the same. Every time I spot my old seat I'll feel a bit of nostalgia for some great memories. I love City, and I'll be City till I die.
Glad you've enjoyed your trip Alex and are taking some great memories home with you. Take care for the rest of your journey. Take it easy mate
Don't rush back to Sydney, looks like you have missed the summer and arriving back just in time for the rain to begin. (Another Sydney Tiger)
I will be watching at the same time each Sunday morning mate but I will be in Victoria. Would you like to borrow my new TV Watching Glasses? please log in to view this image Or will the "Tigers" put you off?
Don't worry Brisbane is not much better at the mo.... I went for a lovely walk in a rainforest yesterday, finding out just why they get their name....
I'm happy to swap houses. You come live in Hull, I'll go live over in your house in Aus. That way you can attend all matches! Sorted.
All the best mate. The Hull City world is very big as we see on this board. Great to see people flying to to watch games. Lets hope we remain Hull City and keep all of our amazing fans.
Just landed in Sydney to a muggy 21, this is warm enough for me for now thanks very much! Also got a lovely email from the club thanking me for coming over which was very touching, can't wait to get back over to see us challenging for the title in a couple of seasons.
Temperatures dropped here mate since you went. Had to defrost the car windscreen this morning gonna be worse tomorrow. meh I'd swop with ya.
It's still nice and warm in perth mate, and the matches kick off at 11:00pm so you can watch them easier.
