I have let it go, Chesh. But I'll never forget. Also, I didn't gang up on anyone. From my perspective, I simply asked elmo to explain why he vociferously forbade others to be hypocrites, whilst carrying out the practice himself. I had to ask many times, and still haven't had a suitable response. All I got was uncalled for abuse.

I know. Maybe we should resurrect the Alan Smith back to Leeds United debate? <laugh>

Justin Beiber (sic) is Canadian anyway.

You know Elland Road atmosphere is where it is at!

Wow, just wow. Can I ask a question? Do you all know each other, work together, drink together or go to the football together? If the answer to all this is no then what is the problem?

This is a forum where people come to offer opinions. Sadly part of the new internet age is cyber bullying and trolling. People will come and try and wind you up but surely it is the easiest thing in the world to ignore. I offer my opinion and if someone doesnt like it they are free to disagree. If they decide to abuse then I have a simple answer, I ignore it or turn my computer off.

If the answer to my first set of questions was no then the people on here are just faceless persons sat at their computer (keyboard tough guys). They will and should have little affect on your lives. Rise above it.

I know some of you are upset by what you see as insults to you and your character but again these are people you do not know. Yes, if I was faced with these people in the street or pub and these comments were passed I would respond but words on a computer screen should not get this kind of rise, I feel it is a sad sign of the times.

Ask yourself while you are getting so hot under the collar, if you never logged onto not606 ever again would your life change? Probably not. I like this site and it has just about kept me sane this last couple of weeks with the excellent debate and information but this petty falling out is dragging this site down. If I log out now and dont come back my life would go on and I would find my LUFC info from somewhere else.

Lets go back to doing what we do best and debate our great club as we enter an exciting new era, one way or the other. Time to turn the other cheek and rise above the small minded trolls.

Who's that aimed at? Either way, everyone has had a pop and lets leave it at that now or the ban hammer is getting dusted off.

Easy for you to say, Father Hemase ;), but you want to be on the wrong end of it! <steam> For the record, it probably would make a difference to my life if I had to walk away from the board. I'm sure some will call that sad, but hey!, I rather enjoy the interraction & the banter.

Just one thing. You use the term troll in the plural. I may have been the victim of tunnel vision, but I thought I only detected one troll. This same troll claimed that I was a troll, which surprised me, and sensitive wee me would appreciate your independant opinion as to whether I too was trolling or not. My view is that I was simply pursuing the answer to the 'hypocrite' question, but if I did indeed display trolling behaviours, I'd like to know, & give myself a good talking to.

All these fallings out have definitely come about because of one person. I have been using this site for a little over a month and its only the reemergence of one particular person who has spoiled it, step forward Mr Hatfield.

I do not want to get into he said/she said because I am not looking to side with anyone but the above mentioned is at the centre of all this one way or the other. I have enjoyed the posts of yourself Jock, glory hunter, ristac and whoever else I have not mentioned if not always agreeing with you guys. (The whole point of the site.) However I find myself not bothering to read the majority of his posts or comments. If they are his genuine thoughts then fair enough, clearly we are on a different wavelength. If they are just wind ups then I am not here for that.

Also when I talk of trolls I meant it as in they are part of the world wide web now unfortunately.

Like I said Jock if I was on the receiving end face to face at work or in the pub I would soon react but in this format I just cant bring myself to be that bothered.
