Quite agree. Get McInnes in now.
I refer you to my earlier reply

No. Just like 40,000 others wont be turning up for the rest of our games this season

Yer Bowie reference was pish, just like yer threats![]()
Anp, the thread is titled "Taxi for Lennon?".
Clearly some folk do want to get rid. I'm not one of them and I also cannot believe this reaction given that Saturday was, by quite some distance, our most difficult domestic game of the year and we lost it by a single goal.
Even if we'd taken a hammering, I wouldn't want rid.
It's all extremely knee-jerky and folk are straying into that "we have a divine right to beat everyone" mindset which I just don't agree with.
I know we all moan about certain individuals and where and when they get played or whether we should've bought them or not but those arguments apply to every single manager there's ever been in my lifetime.
I'm not knocking criticism - criticise the team and the manager all you want - I just think some folk need to take a wee step back.
We were in the Champions' League group stages two years in a row and we're at least in the qualifiers next year.
Aberdeen have not lost in the Cup at Parkhead since 1951, is that Lenny's fault?

Aye, he had the chance to beat them of Saturday and didn't.
Not that I advocate getting rid.

It's a tired cliche that anything can happen in the Cups, winning the SPL is all that matters aas far as i'm concerned. Ergo I'm happy with Lennon.
Well, I thought the Dons played us right on Saturday.
McInnes did to Lennon what we did to Spartak and almost did to Milan this season (tactics in the San Siro were spot on, despite the result).
I thought the Dons' midfield fought like **** and deserved what they got on Sunday.
Losing to Morton is indefensible, I'll concede that, but we all crow that the league doesn't need a strong Rangers only to throw out the toys when the 2nd team in the country beat us?
Nah.
Any of you who want Lennon out should shoulder personal responsibility for whatever average journeyman yes-man ex-Celt we get in replacement.
Then, I'd be beeling.
I'm not beeling at being outplayed by a good team set out well - all the more congrats to 'em, I say.
I'll be beeling if ****s keep over-reacting, though.

Aberdeen did get the tactics to beat us spot on. Problem is Lennon helped them.
McInnes knew our team because at home in Scotland we always play the same way. So you can set up to counter it.
Lennon should have changed it to counter them. If the team he starts with aint doing it then you change it.
When it dont work he will get stick for playing players who have not been playing well - Samaras.
I dont mind losing as long as you do so trying. And Celtic didnt try IMO

Any f**kwit could win the league with Celtic's resources.
