    An interesting article on some free agents this summer, without trapsing through a load of blue square north/south free transfers. Interesting to see Duke in goal and ***an out wide in the Football League XI.

    Didn't know James McFadden was available; would be a good addition if brought in on the right wages.

    Bothroyd is only on the list as he hasn't decided which offer to accept yet, he'll be playing in the Premier League next season.

    The term "released" doesn't quite cover everyone. Most of the players are released because they aren't wanted. Lots of players are released because they won't sign a new contract, like Jay Bothroyd, David Norris, Gareth Macauley, Seb Larsson, David Vaughan, etc.

    Its interesting to see that duke managed to snake his way in there. Maybe he was one of the footballers that asked to be put on cos no way would he get on there ahead of the likes of westwood
