"one your doing well to try and get out of joining in". So,let me see if I fully understand this, you are trying to pressure a poster into doing something he clearly has no interest in? Does this also extend to me,and others? Wow,if I'd known being a mod would involve such authority, perhaps I was a bit hasty in turning down the opportunity to become one!!!
When this poster is telling others to stop moaning about Laudrup being sacked because its in the past, whilst also still going on about his last 11 games, then yes, I will try my best to get him to answer the questions. After all, its all relevant, do you not agree? But then like one or two posters on here, they like to talk the talk, but don't like to walk the walk, when they are questioned on their view points. If I make a point of view, I will do what I can to confirm it, sometimes I am wrong and I will make it clear I am wrong, but I will not shy away from proving my point, mainly because I believe what I am actually saying, and will do what I can to prove it. And if Plastic honestly believes what he is saying, then whats so hard about answering the questions as part of the fun of debate. But no, he is making reasons to not answer it. Me being mod has no relevance other than those with an inferiority complex, which I do not, I do not abuse my mod powers to get people to answer me, and don't like what you are insinuating.
I like Norwich, but I honestly can't see you getting anything from that run of games. Maybe you can sneak 1 or 2 points, but thats my prediction
It's called debate isn't it? As you say Swanselona, it should be fun....no need for the hyper sensitivity from some quarters.
That's alright, i don't like the look of them either Let's get West Ham out of the way first. A point would be okay. I fancy something from the Villa game and as nearly always, something from the Liberty
watch you go and beat us lol, after all my first prediction of Fulham losing at old trafford went well too
Forecasting future results can hardly be described as "proving my point". Not everyone feels the need to enter into what they may perceive as being a futile exercise. Where exactly did I accuse you of "abusing your mod powers"? What exactly did I "insinuate"? Time to chill,Mr.mod, and stop trying to insinuate things that don't exist.
I take it you have already forgot this Vetch. If as you say you were not insinuating anything, you would have had no need to bring up the mod status, no? I take that as thinking im doing something i wouldnt do if i was not mod.
It can go as far as HELPING to prove my point, not to PROVE my point in its entirety. In that even the teams around us have struggled in the exact same fixtures. So how can it be as bad as some are saying, when the tough run of games is the thing that they are missing. The "predictions" part is does he think the teams they haven't played yet (that we played in those 11 games) to see if he really thinks our form in the last 11 is really that bad, after all, does he think the likes of Norwich will gain any points, in what will be a very hard run for them? So yes it is all very relevant to the points being made. If he has nothing to hide, then surely he could just give a PREDICTION of the games they are playing, and then after his predictions we can see if his opinion that our last 11 were that ****, and compare it to those around us. Look at fulham, they have to win 2 of their remaining 3 games, to be at the same level as us in terms of form of those 11 matches, which I cannot see happening, so can Plasticfan?
I'm not sure what your point is. All the bottom 11 more or less are in relegation form. Many of them are abysmal, so it's touch and go who stays up and who goes down. So I think we both agree that the form is similar i.e. hopeless.
From the above it appears that you are agreeing with me. Surely Fulham and Cardiff are relegation form, and we are similar. Se we're all relegation form. So no debate, because we agree.
but against other teams, bottom half teams, we have a much better record than the likes of Cardiff and Fulham...so all it really shows is that the Prem has become increasingly polarised and the very rich clubs seem to do well against everybody....which is why Laudrup was always talking about the importance of the games against our direct rivals. We did well in those games in the first half of the season and if we repeated that form in the second half (when we had got difficult fixtures out of the way at the turn of the year and had more bottom half teams at home, and have the likes of Michu, Dyer, Vorm and Hernandez returning) we would not be anywhere near relegation come season's end. The final League table is the only form table that matters. All you can see through the season is whether you are averaging more than a point a game to finish on 40+...of course there are times when you face a lot of top teams in a row where you might dip below that average...that's when it's important to hold your nerve.
Goal diff could well be very important as its that tight in the bottom 10 at the moment so Bony and others to be knocking them in plus Michu to come back is encouraging at this later stage of the season. Swans 43 ponts finish 12th
But again Plastic, looking at it that way is a very basic way of looking at it, as even if we took the last 6 games of all teams around us and see how we did against those clubs, wonder what sort of picture that would give us. Fulham Man Utd 2-2 Fulham Fulham 0-3 Southampton Swansea 2-0 Fulham Arsenal 2-0 Fulham Fulham 1-4 Sunderland Fulham 2-1 West Ham So in their last 6 they gained 4 points. We in those very same fixtures gained 7 points, and still have to play Southampton and Arsenal. Cardiff Swansea 3-0 Cardiff Cardiff 2-1 Norwich Man Utd 2-0 Cardiff Man City 4-2 Cardiff Cardiff 0-2 West Ham Arsenal 2-0 Cardiff So in their last 6 they gained 3 points. We in those very same fixtures gained 1 point, and still have to play Norwich and Arsenal West Brom Crystal Palace 3-1 West Brom West Brom 1-1 Liverpool Aston Villa 4-3 West Brom West Brom 1-1 Everton Southampton 1-0 West Brom West Brom 1-0 Newcastle So in their last 6 they gained 5 points. We in those very same fixtures gained 8 points. Sunderland Sunderland 0-2 Hull Newcastle 0-3 Sunderland Sunderland 1-0 Stoke Sunderland 2-2 Southampton Fulham 1-4 Sunderland Sunderland 0-1 Aston Villa So in their last 6 they gained 10 points. We in those very same fixtures gained 5 points, and still have to play Newcastle, Southampton and Aston Villa Norwich Norwich 0-0 Man City Cardiff 2-1 Norwich Norwich 0-0 Newcastle Norwich 1-0 Hull Everton 2-0 Norwich Crystal Palace 1-1 Norwich So in their last 6 they gained 6 points. We in those very same fixtures gained 7 points, and still have to play Everton West Ham Aston Villa 0-2 West Ham West Ham 2-0 Swansea Chelsea 0-0 West Ham West Ham 1-3 Newcastle Cardiff 0-2 West Ham Fulham 2-1 West Ham So in their last 6 they gained 10 points. We in those very same fixtures gained 8 points. Crystal Palace Crystal Palace 3-1 West Brom Arsenal 2-0 Crystal Palace Crystal Palace 1-0 Hull Crystal Palace 1-0 Stoke Tottenham 2-0 Crystal Palace Crystal Palace 1-1 Norwich So in their last 6 they gained 10 points. We in those very same fixtures gained 2 points. and still have to play Arsenal, West Brom and Norwich. Stoke Southampton 2-2 Stoke Stoke 2-1 Man Utd Sunderland 1-0 Stoke Crystal Palace 1-0 Stoke Stoke 3-5 Liverpool Stoke 1-1 Everton So in their last 6 they gained 5 points. We in those very same fixtures gained 4 points. and still have to play Sunderland Aston Villa Aston Villa 0-2 West Ham Everton 2-1 Aston Villa Aston Villa 4-3 West Brom Liverpool 2-2 Aston Villa Aston Villa 1-2 Arsenal Sunderland 0-1 Aston Villa So in their last 6 they gained 7 points. We in those very same fixtures gained 1 points. and still have to play Everton, West Brom, Liverpool and Sunderland Hull Sunderland 0-2 Hull Hull 1-1 Tottenham Crystal Palace 1-0 Hull Norwich 1-0 Hull Hull 0-2 Chelsea Liverpool 2-0 Hull So in their last 6 they gained 4 points. We in those very same fixtures gained 4 points. and still have to play Sunderland, Chelsea and Liverpool ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ So those who were worried about our form, were doing so very prematurely in my opinion, as based on the results and form of the teams below us, only Sunderland, West Ham, Palace and Villa have a better return. So that leaves 6 teams who are worse off than us. So I still fail to see how anyone can claim we are in relegation form, yet fail to acknowledge we have also had the hardest of the 25 fixtures this season, which is apparent in our easier 13 final games than any other team in the whole league.
