Hmmm silly comments. He's obviously not happy that usmnt key player isn't banging the goals in which is understandable. Although he's not scoring goals like he has in previous seasons I actually think Klinsmann will get a better all round striker come the world cup. I can see in the last three games that he's been working on certain things and learning. He's used to playing in teams built around him that cater to him and make chances for him. Unfortunately we don't play that way so we won't have one player getting 15+ goals.
At no point does klinsman urge jozy to join another club. He just says he dreams his no 9 plays champions league but he lacks like other American players belief. This is a non story, can't see why people are getting worked up?

We need players someday like Brazil, Argentina that play Champions League. Champions League in Europe is the crème de la crème. This is where the trend is made in the Champions League. The way they play this year in the Champions League, you will see it in the World Cup in Brazil in summer. The systems, the approaches because it is the best of the best. We do not have players there. My wish is that maybe after the World Cup we get Jozy Altidore, our No. 9, into a Champions League team or Tim Howard becomes goalkeeper of a big team. We have good players, but we don't have the belief yet that we belong in there. I reckon his comments must have been taken out of context, i cant understand it otherwise surely his statement was more something along these lines: My wish is that maybe after the World Cup we get Jozy Altidore, our No. 9, scoring some goals for Sunderland so in the future a Champions League team might be interested in him
Lets hope one comes in with a big bid in the summer eh and then we can use the money to buy a striker.
I'll leave my judgment till after next season whatever division we're playing in. He's not banging in em in but still contributing none the less. That'll do for me and he's got my backing.

This. There is one fundamental difference between Jozy and Bent, and it involves that big ****ing net at both ends of the pitch. I like JA - he works really ****ing hard but if he is champions league class then i will eat my own knob cheese, live streaming on the internet.
