Wouldnt even need to be a klopp. Someone like a rodgers (not him). Might start off slow (hence get him in now) but has a clear idea of what he wants. The Southampton chap?
That's just going for current flavour of the month. It has to to be one of the very best managers out there. Which means at the end of the season. Tap the ****er up now and appoint in the summer. This season is gone.
Maybe so but he does seem decent. Too much risk I suppose. I do agree though, tap up klopp now. If we cant get Jose we need to get Klopp. Cant let him slip by.
why on hell you think Klopp will do better? he is struggling with Durtmond and he is not even tested in PL
Because unlike you I dont think our squad is rubbish. I happen to think our manager is rubbish. The evidence supports my view point.
Is this serious? Do you even know why he's struggling... Let me jog your memory. 1. His starting back 4 have been injured for most of the season. 2. His best player left for their biggest rivals. 3. The Lewandoski saga. Any manager would struggle.
Having watched United for most of my long life, I've seen us employ some pretty average managers ( Dave Sexton, Ron Atkinson etc ) but been lucky to have witnessed the likes of Sir Matt and Sir Alex. Even the Tommy Doc era was entertaining, even if we were going nowhere. Like most United fans I was prepared to give David Moyes my support, I actually like the guy and admired the job he had done at Everton. It was always going to be a massive task to follow Sir Alex, whoever got the job, but I am now starting to have my doubts and wonder whether this will all end in tears. There is now something fundamentally wrong with our club, either the new training techniques, tactics, man management or a combination of all three because great players ( yes the one's who won the league by 11 points last season ) do not become bad players overnight. However, I do not see them giving 100% for the current manager at the moment and I don't see it happening in the near future. I am not bothered in all the abuse and sarcasm I am receiving from all the ABU's ( they have been waiting almost 20 years to spew their bile ) but I am concerned for my club and it's immediate future. If I am honest I just can't see Moyes as a winner, no matter how much we spend and how many players we bring in, that's my gut feeling. How long the Glasers give him before it starts to hit their pockets is anyone's guess but whatever happens United will never die and they will continue to enjoy my support until I do.
I think young fans do not realise how difficult for a manager to come into the shoes of the greatest manager of all to manage the same players who have been used to SAF for years. However hard the players try it will never be the same for them. That is why I say the players individually may be v.good but they simply just do not gel into a squad and a team when led by anyone other than SAF. Once he hit the rocky patch and the press got on top of him, I knew we were in for a huge rollercoaster. Untl the end of the season, expect the unexpected. he is going to be losing points as the squad (in the hands of a new manager) is simply not good enough. I know many people think differently. We will need to agree to disagree but I have seen the worse of United and we are not even close...We are entering a new era where United will need to fight for every point against every team. Nothing can be taken for granted.
Why even bother? There is no way your board is going to sack him, after the song and dance they made about how they back their managers and giving him a bloody SIX year contract. Not to mention the small fact that he was Fergie's choice.
Who and what was said? Saw Hernandez about the truth coming out eventually or something, anyone else?
That was 3 days ago I think after Laudrup got sacked, it was just a comment on twitter. I didnt read to much into it, just seemed a general comment??
Depends which way you look at it but yes I suppose it could mean Moyes Not very good from Rio though if he did mean that
Well we all know what Rio meant by his "choc-ice" tweet and he was rightly fined by the FA so its not beyond him to mean what people are guessing he meant. He likes to play on words with his tweets. But he knows he's on Moyes hit list so he's got nothing to lose.
All wummery aside, Manchester United FC are still a MASSIVE GLOBAL BRAND, I am pretty confident I could make a list of all the managers who wouldn't want to manage this club, and the list wouldn't be very impressive.
