I'm looking forward to this match. There are some interesting fixtures this midweek where a lot could change or a lot could stay the same 3 relegation dogfights, 4 'top v bottom' clashes and Arsenal v Man Utd chucked in for good measure. Winners in bold and ....... haway Brian let's have the official thread when you have a minute marra Cardiff v Aston Villa Hull v Southampton West Ham v Norwich West Brom v Chelsea Arsenal v Man Utd Everton v Crystal Palace Man City v Sunderland Newcastle v Tottenham Stoke v Swansea Fulham v Liverpool Table would be summat like, Swansea 28 West Ham 28 Hull 27 Villa 27 Stoke 27 Palace 26 Norwich 25 Sunderland 24 Cardiff 24 West Brom 23 Fulham 19 Sunderland 4 points from Swansea in 10th and 5 points off the bottom. West Brom & Fulham play each other the following Saturday. And yes, I have too much time on my hands ...... our lass has been ill for a week so I'm pretty much housebound.
I just hope we don't take a battering off Man City as it may give them the physiological edge when we meet again in the cup final.
Id follow Chelsea's tactics and have Cattermole and Bridcutt sat in front of the back four. Borini Ki Johnson infront and Altidore up top. But if someone plays an awful back pass then someone dives in recklessly and gets sent off it will all be Jozy's fault.
Are City missing Aguero, Fernandinho and Yaya? Heard Yaya kicked someone yesterday and can be banned retrospectively
I don't think we'll lose ALL of our next 3 league games. Got a feeling we could pinch one win even. Any points would be impressive but if we could manage one huge win I think it'd be enough of a boost to keep our heads above water
Nosey ****er, i have a Rendezvous with a delightful lady planned, all expenses paid (by me) Nah honestly mate, nee idea.
In certain games id play Colback over Catts but we'll be doing alot of defending in this match for sure and Cattermole and Bridcutt offer better protection for the defence imo, and it allows Ki to maybe play higher which has a knock on effect with the attackers hopefully when we have the ball.
I reckon we will get something, 'cos: 1) We always do 2) They are a few key players down 3) AJ has a point to prove 4) Right time to play them - they have dropped form
