Probably right mate as winning breeds winning. No idea really. I'm gutted about yesterday. Bet Shane Long was over the moon Brown gave him the option to go down. It's the sort of player he is. I wondered at the ttime if he'd intentionally slowed up to get fouled or hopefully get fouled as he looked lightning at first then looked like someone might catch him. Still wish Brown had faked the challenge and got him to dive as it's what he'd do! Horrible scum of a player who you hate playing against but would live On tour team

It looks to me like Brown set his sights on him and Long was teeing himself up for a shot, Brown made the lunge and Long went to the right. Too late by then as Brown was airborne and wallop, have a red card son.

Absolutely no doubt ........ the trouble with Wes is that he's become a bit of a hero with the fans and went too far yesterday.

Much better to have left it to Mannone.

According to the radio Bardsley played a suicide ball and Brown took one "for the team"?

He should have let Mannone save it, rather than just take him out.

Who knows - but surely it's better to be 1-0 with 11 men.

Wes's problem is the same as all of ours. 10 years ago he would have made that tackle no bother.

We all think we are at least 10 years younger than we actually are!

I mentioned this on another post but O'shea was running along like a big daft lass and should have got to Long before Brown - look at the video he's mincing along

3 minutes into the game is far too early to take one for the team. Fair enough if you're 1 - 0 up with 10 to go but with 87 minutes left better to risk a goal and keep 11 men.

How many games have we lost through stupid defensive decisions?
