I'm in favour of this proposal, a stake in the club by a Supporters' trust would create supporters' involvement however minimal this influence. This doesn't mean "a takeover", there's no way a trust like this could stump up £70-£100m. Slightly O/T although there are parallels - I'd like to see it happen with my employer too which is a small company where the owners wish to sell up and retire but can't find a buyer. It's a current polemic. Although we'd be talking a majority transfer of ownership in our case.
