That would be the chairman. You know the same chairman who thought it was also a good move to sack Steve Clarke.
the reason they do it is so a player cant get knocked out by one team then beat another, say we got drawn against the team which knocked wba out and long then bagged the winner having already lost to them, it'd massively suck to be them
k, say we beat Swansea in round 3 with bony playing for them, few weeks lster he transfers to everton who beat us 1 0 in the 4th round with bony getting the goal, pretty crap for us and somewhat unfair considering we've already knocked him out, its not just about the team but about the players being knocked out too
Yeah, I agree with that. I couldn't be happier with the new strike partnership but Sagbo looked good. Mind you, it's hard to believe that the season will finish without him being needed, so he should get another chance. And that's not a bad contribution from someone that's pissed!
The 'cup-tied' rule is an ancient regulation that does need addressing. It goes back to the days when winning the FA Cup was on a par with winning the league. It was a move that stopped teams strengthening for later rounds. However, it's an anomaly as players can play in the league 3 times against an opponent after a transfer. In my opinion, it's a rule that should have been abolished when the transfer window rule was implemented. If a player's registration is transferred he should be free to play in any league or cup competition.
I agree he has played well, and been given a roll that wouldn't necessarily get him into goal scoring positions. However players get injured or need a rest, so he will get his chance, and will be interesting to see if he takes it.
I don't think anyone said he was ****, just that we were robbed at £7m. He's better than I thought though.
Are you sure that wasn't on Hessle Rd with her hair in rollers, covered by a head scarf, going to work at Smith and Nephews?
