    Morning all!

Thought I'd get your views on the game on Tuesday.

I'm looking forward to the match. I have a lot of time for Bruce as a manager and I think he's been particularly impressive with his signings. Huddleston has always run things in the middle but you now have two good outlets up front. Particularly Long.

It will be a tough match but we are unbeaten since losing to Chelsea on New Years Day so I'm hoping we can get at least a point. I've started a match thread on the Saints Board so feel free to pop over for some banter.

    Cheers!

Aye stewey probably means it in a snide way to goad the Soton lads but i reckon its true. I hope the club are going to do reall cheap tickets or free to schools. We need a full house get the lads going, a win would put us in a brilliant position.

Not sure how many we will bring. It's a long trip midweek. Think we will score but whether we can keep you out the other end remains to be seen.

3.5 goals per game this year in matches involving the Saints. They still look very potent - but not as sound at the back as they were earlier in the season when Lovren and Fonte had that great run.

Shame Hooiveld is out of favour again - he always looked good for a big error a game.

They played us off the park that day...I'm just glad we've got Aluko, Long & Jela to unleash on them this time. Reckon it'll be a draw.

The defeat to them earlier in the season has to be utilised to get a much stronger performance out of us. They blew us away.

Brucie said it yesterday post-match to Burnsy, "we owe them one".

I don't see us returning the favour 4-1, but I think we'll make it a very tough Tuesday night for them and I can see it being a highly entertaining and energetic game.

At home, fancy us to nick it.

It will be an interesting game, would take a draw now.
As others have pointed out, they blew us away earlier in the season. At home, I always fancy us to get something, with only Chelsea really dominating the game at the KC.

I will predict a 1-1, which would be a valuable draw going into the Cup game and then Cardiff away.

What a ridiculas game to have mid week.

Whenever I've seen Soton they've look very classy. Its nice to see them developing young talent.

I fancy a score draw in this one.

They've thrashed the bottom 2 clubs 3-0 away which shows the gap & the progress Saints have made. They've come to the north east and got score draws. It could be a vey good football match with some quality on both sides. I'd say 2-2.

Easily one of the best teams I've seen this season play us, genuinely expected Soton to be top 6. S'gonna be tricky I think, but we're a better team now and I expect us to get at least 1 point if not all 3.

The Saints have looked decent this season and it will be a tough game. We've started to pick up again during the last couple of games and we have for the first time in ages two strikers who look like scoring. Saints also have several dangermen we should watch out for. I think it'll be a score draw of 1-1.

I'd take a point now. Save them the long midweek journey if they're interested.

Hmm, I think we have to win our home games, so a win will be sufficient. We just need to starve Lallana, Rodriguez and Lambert of possession and we'll be alright!

I'd take a loss at your place if it means stuffing Sunderland on Saturday......! Now them, we do owe one. Big time.
