fia simply dont want vettel to win the title. it is clear vettel is the fastest driver in f1 and red bull have the fastest car, had this been ferrari/mclaren they wouldnt of minded. i wont recognise any driver other then vettel winning this title. the battle is now Red bull v FIA
I'm sure that's got them quaking in their boots. I don't believe the FIA or FOM have any preference who wins the title, though I'm sure they'd both like to see the battle go down to the wire.
wakkalfc. I can see your point, but don't feel they are anti-Vettel at all. I'm always convinced Bernie 'encourages' teams to allow a close finish . Money, money, money ....
McLaren hopes to benefit from the off-throttle blowing restriction, especially in qualifying and by up to half a second.
So for every 10%, off throttle they use = a tenth? Red Bull 45% = Half a second. Renault 90% = Nearly a second. Ferrari ??% McLaren ??% Stefano is almost praying for a miracle that it effects the others more than them... http://www.sportinglife.com/formula...E=formula1/11/06/15/AUTO_Ferrari.html&BID=669
