Now, I don't know whether people will agree with me on this but hear me out.

Does it feel to anyone else that as fans we appreciate all that Sturridge does, but as a fanbase there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of love or adoration for him? It feels more like respect than anything. Certainly nothing even remotely similar to the feelings held toward players like Suarez, Torres, Alonso, Garcia, Coutinho etc despite the fact that he has had an unbelievable first year with us.

Furthermore, why doesn't Danny have his own song?

It's a fair point. I don't know the reason to be honest, but agree with your assessment. He should have his own song by now. I love the guy! <laugh><ok>

Maybe having seen him and his attitude at City and Chelsea, people still being a bit hesitant? I think it is coming around though, goals like that against Everton and Arsenal, giving props to the guy that played him the ball, and the dance was back today!!!!!

Sturridge song needs to be something with Reggae.

    I was thinking ... :emoticon-0159-music
:emoticon-0159-music ... to the tune of Bob the Builder. <laugh>

    Reggae would be trickier. Perhaps::emoticon-0159-music
    :emoticon-0159-music ... To Bob's No Woman, No Cry. :emoticon-0112-wonde:emoticon-0112-wonde

Maybe Sky can come up with something. He is, after all, the Reggae Don. <ok>

Bob Marley: Three little birds could be good.

Rise up this morning, chants from the rising Kop
Daniel Sturridge! Is in the penalty box
Scoring sweet goals! A left foot pure and true
Saying: This is my message to you oh oh oh!!!

    Smething like that.

    Hi reds, Leicester FIP :emoticon-0150-hands

He´s a top player in the making & I still can´t understand why CFC got rid of him. He´s still young & will be an LFC legend if he sticks around at the club long enough. Still got alot to learn , but yeah a top player for the future.

p.s LFC have always been my 2nd team since I was an egg, Oh how I miss those standing days in the kop (did it alot in the late 80´s early 90´s) . BR is a top top man & manager... KEEP HOLD OF HIM.

p.p.s Get in the champs lge or better please :emoticon-0148-yes:

Well looks like we will be visiting you next season. About time you were back in the prem!

Your right about Sturridge. He has everything to be a top top player and in BR he has the manager to bring it out of him.
My mate is a Chelsea fan and he constantly bemoans the fact he left Chelsea, esp as they have Torres.

chelsea are lucky they have Hazard and oscar, as their fowards ie torres and eto for me are poor in comparison.

be good to see Leicester back in the prem.

dont like either but be interesting to see how high the passion levels and intensity went if leeds and millwall got in the prem,

    west Ham v Millwall
    Cardiff v Swansea
    Liverpool v Everton
    City v manure
    leeds v manure

some tasty games there if it happened, just hope manure are good enough to stay up <laugh>

I think also the difference in the love for Suarez and Sturridge is down to their personalities.
When Suarez scores it's utter joy spread across his face and he's much the same when anyone else does.
Sturridge comes across as a little more arrogant with his less emotional celebration.

Yesterday, Suarez was almost in tears when Sturridge missed following Louis' through ball and that's what we love about Suarez. His passion, commitment. He gives it everything once he is on the pitch (as do all our players I'm sure ) and he wears his heart on his sleeve.
I don't care anyway. Wouldn't swap either of them ( well unless Aguero wanted to come...or hazard) .

I personally am starting to love Sturridge, rapidly becoming one of my favourites.. Despite everything, he does speak very well so let's give him the benefit of the doubt re attitude.

    Daniel Sturridge Liverpool's #15 <party>
