Hmmm. true over the Gerrard shoulder thing, but we should be grateful he didn't go all Flores over that Flanno abortion.

I was referring to the Gerrard one when I posted.

Flanno, bad tackles part of the game (a bad part) but we got lucky he got away with it. Sure someone at the club will have a word with him about it.

I can offer some forgiveness to some of the bad tackles, like Flanno's. Its eagerness and shows a willingness to fight. But Play acting to get another player in trouble, carded etc, is low

  13. Come again? I'm assuming you mean that its a insulting post? Since there is a smiley sat there and you asked who he meant, it was in good humour <ok>

The Flanno "tackle" was quite bad. The is absolutely no reason to make a stamping movement like he did. Lucky the ref missed it as it was a stamp, studs showing and over the ball.

Flano was very fortunate not more was made of that tackle. Very reckless. Surprised the "whinger" didn't bring it up as an excuse.

Interesting fact: we are the prem top scorers from set pieces! Now not so long ago whenever we got a corner or free kick that wasn't in Suarez range (although after his second half effort yesterday I'm not sure there is such a thing) you just knew we wouldn't score. All we need now is a long throw expert and we could be the new Stoke :1980_boogie_down:

because it wasn't luis, so no big deal would have come of it.

was a naughty challenge, but no more than wilshere was doing all game and got away with.

Biggest disappointment yesterday was that the Suarez volley didn't go in. Think that would have topped all his goals this season...and how did toure miss the rebound!

Flanno's tackle was silly. Strangely, it didn't actually appear malicious, plus he made no contact whatsoever with the Arsenal player.

It's all about intent though. The fact he didn't make contact is irrelevant.

    just watched motd,

was a bit surprised they didn't mention the volley by luis or the free kick in the discussion afterwards, as both was superb bits of skill, was quite brief considering all that happened in the game.

MOTD is always too short. It's about time they had the 'match choice' option like sky. I usually only watch it for the Liverpool game. Prefer to watch match choice where you get 45-50 min highlights of your team.
