You mean the same way that some were jumping for joy after we beat Fulham, only to go back to slating ML after we lost to West Ham, and then thought it the right call to sack him, sorry for not getting ahead of myself, thoroughly enjoyed the game, was screaming like crazy, and proud as punch that we beat Cardiff, and really glad that Monk won as it takes the pressure off him a little, but am not letting it cloud my judgement, there is still a lot to do to survive in this league.

I've always had that view of him, and the same goes for Leon too, he was everywhere today, and pulled out some brilliant moves!...............<ok>

I think you have a point here.

Stoke away will be just as tough as West Ham away. Let's not get carried away because there is a long way to go yet.

As you say, credit where credit is due. It was a great win yesterday, but fans shouldn't judge anything on one match. This season the Swans have been playing in the Europa League and cups and therefore have had to play accordingly. You can't play at 100% performance in every match when you have so many games - so other PL teams have an advantage. Unfortunately, like most clubs, we have plenty of fickle fans........................

You mean obvious, not laughable. If ML had been in charge for that game then we would not have seen the same passion and we not have pressed them high up the pitch. For the whole game. At the very least.

Everyone whining with a grudge against the board needs to wait until some FACTS are available. Then you can say you told us so but until then this endless repetitive sniping at the board does nobody any good. Does anyone remember lambasting Dai for endless repetition?

No one is EVER going to forget what ML did for us :)

Please find where I have used this game as a point to snipe at th eboard, thanks but no thanks.

Now find all the posts that have used this result to snipe at ML. Then come back to me. Now if they hadn't used this result to snipe at ML, I wouldn't be here trying to defend him. So please, do keep up.

I gather reports are coming out that our toilets and TV's were smashed up AGAIN. Hope Huw sends a nice bill out for the damage.

No we didn't, it is well documented that it was our first game where we didn't have a single shot on target. And the last game is only one worth discussing because it in context of the managerial change which you obviously stil disagree with.

Oh my god, that was AT THE BOLEYN GROUND....not at home, go check yourself.

Unless you know something I don't and that we have all of a sudden started playing our home games in London.

Which is why I said this in the post you yourself have quoted

I think most are seeing the bigger picture, we were in relegation form for a whole year. So injuries etc cannot be explained as the cause, I still thank Laudrup for the cup win but he had to go.

24/24 is not relegation form, but its close too, and yes injuries and our tough run of fixtures has a huge part to play in that. It is why on paper we have the easier final 13 games of any premier league team.

So, so many positives from yesterday performance . Dyer and Routledge were fantastic , as were Williams and Chico. Little Leon Britton was ----well he was Little Leon Britton , enough said . Emnes was a pleasent surprize once he got going . Nice to see Vorm have an uneventful return to get his feet wet . Laudrup will be proud of his assembled team , be it from afar.

Laurdup is probably gutted we won. The more we win, the more obvious it will be that the decision to get rid of him was right and the more he'll look like a not so good manager. It won't do his cause any good at all. So where are all these offers that you claim he has Breezy? According to you he should be manager of a big club any day now.
