Arse kicked? I got a PM saying that I was wasting my time trying to reason with you, a distinct impression I was already beginning to formulate, so I left and stopped wasting my time. Have a read of some of your posts on this thread, bet you'll feel a right old silly nonce. As for arse kicking, you have received one, thanks for the 6 points. It's a shame most of your fans only got to see the first 75 minutes.
Guessing you didn't see smug on our board all week giving it the big 'un about how good you were, how **** we are and Bruce was tactically clueless. I though smug said he was brave enough to admit when he'd been proven to be talking utter bollocks?
I would enjoy your deserved win today lad but try and remember how to be a "good winner" like a lot of the comments on here that seems to have been forgotten. Thereâs a ciggie paper between mid-table and relegation so let's not fool anyone here it's going to be tight. I remember scoffing at other fans who warned us about Bruce/OâNeill and DiCanio yet they all turned out to be correct so in turn take this whatever way you want but Bruce will falter and will cock it up, as for the comments (from another poster) about him tactically ripping Gus a new one today says more about the poster than anything else as good old Brucie has never been known for his tactical awareness.
Is that Geordie/Mackem for something? He's still tactically out-thought the 'genius' that is, Gustavo Poyet AKA Cornelius from Planet of the Apes.
What a ****ing mug you are. Johnson was invisible because Poyet played him behind Altidore so that had **** all to do with Bruce tactics. the rest of your comment is bullshit to.
Johnson is a good player who was in exceptional form, Bruce obviously saw him as your major threat. From the off he played Meyler to help Figueroa counter the threat of Johnson, even once Johnson picked up a more central position he almost never found himself in space. Sure the extra man helped, but that's no accident, Bruce did very well tactically today. It's not always easy against 10 men but he managed to see out a comfortable 2-0 win.
I thought Poyet got his tactics wrong today like. should of played 4-4-1 when we went down to 10 men. fair play you won so all the best for the season.
are you ****ing insane? **** tactics you played against 10 men for 90 minutes yeovil should have beaten us go away or talk proper footy because as far as i'm aware, wes lost us the match, you are a premiership team, and should put ten men to bed. so **** off with anything else it was a no contest, end of conversation 3 points to you, nothing more, nothing less
I have a mate at work who is a Wigan Athletic fan, he said Bruce was the best manager he's seen at Wigan. Sometimes it just doesn't work out at certain clubs, sometimes clubs go through a succession of managers which is probably where Sunderland are with a fair few changes in a relatively short space of time. I think you as a club need stability with Poyet and give him a decent length of time to mould the team. I think with him in charge you'll get decent expansive attacking football. His Brighton side certainly liked to pass the ball around. I haven't made any derogatory comments, I have also positive repped a couple of Sunderland fans for their posts Gustavo who is currently over on our board and V Joe - Both a credit to your board and club.
I didn't say you did lad, I only replied to you as you sounded like a decent enough chap who could debate without the childish nonesense of others. I agree with what you say and genuinely wish you and your team good luck. I can only judge Bruce by his time with us and it wasn't good but nothing in football surprises me anymore. From what I've seen of Gus it's all good so far and I honestly think he was brought in to rebuild, be it in the championship but hopefully in the prem as the guy plays a great style of football and imo will be sought after in the future.
Ain't it great supporting Sunderland. We have gone from relegation favourites to top 5 form, picked up a day out at Wembley, still in with a shout at two Wembley finals...Then this today. A game we really should win and what happens... Anyway, I've just got home so I've not seen anything about the game, I don't know if we were unlucky or not but I honestly thought we would walk it today. Well done Hull. I should know better at my age.
