What a great result, I am so pleased foe SB, who said the last time he left he needed a police escort, maybe he would need the same today.

Absolutely brilliant game today! Was my last over here so perfect way to bow out. Keep up the good work and this time next week we could be over 30 points and all but safe. :)

Yep! Only saw three wins (plus a cup win) but boy were they worth it! 3-1 over Liverpool, 6-0 over Fulham, and today 2-0 over Sunderland! All significant for different reasons. :)

One very positive thing about today was the way the team used the full width of the pitch when things got congested (mainly on the left). Instead of passing it backwards (like we usually resort to) the ball was passed to the right wing where Elmo found he had space to run into for a change. The result was the whole team got the chance to push up more and for long periods Sunderland were trapped in their own penalty area.

Really?! That was my biggest complaint. The amount of times Fig was standing on his own in acres of space and we just passed it around in a tight little congested area pissed the hell out of me. We needed to raise our eyes and spot up an option in space. Maybe they just weren't confident in his ability, I dunno, but that was the one thing that we let ourselves down on today.

We didn't pass right to left as often, but there were a lot of long passes the other way. We switched the attack well and it kept 10 man Sunderland chasing shadows.

If we were more incisive in the final third really we should have neutralised our goal difference today. In te last 15/20 minutes they just opened up and let us hit them on the counter, every time outnumbering them and every time making the wrong decision (Aluko).

We should have been first on MOTD.

Looking forward to Man City's thrilling 0-0 thrashing of Norwich, guess such an entertaining battle must be on second?

From what I've read it sounds like it was the bore fest of the season so far...

I meant, it should have been a demolition job with the opportunities we had towards the end.

    Safe trip mate.

I hope you've had a good time over in the UK, and you come back sooner rather than later.

It's great to know we have fans in all corners of the globe.

    When you back?

I honestly don't know. The earliest that I can see is 2016 when I start work and get the chance to work over in the UK, otherwise no clue. Won't be any time soon unfortunately. :(

Their bastarding mods given me neg rep now. <laugh>

Professional performance by City today, the investment certainly paid off on today's account. Could've been a nervy one had that first goal not come sooner and a second to put the game to bed.
