best thing for us is cardiff getting a goal back so that Swansea doesnt get a 2 goal boost to their goal differential
Swansea 3-0 That'll shut up the Cardiff fans for earlier this season. Sadly it really is no good for GD on our end.
In the grand scheme of things our GD currently is great compared to those below us. 11 Hull -5 27 12 Aston Villa -9 27 13 Stoke -14 26 14 Crystal Palace -16 26 15 West Ham -7 25 16 Norwich -18 25 17 Sunderland -13 24 18 West Brom -8 23 19 Cardiff -25 21 20 Fulham -31 19
Holy **** who was that lass who popped up on SNF in the purple dress?!?!? Like fighter pilots thumbs!!!
It's a good result and makes Fulham and Cardiff quite likely to be 2 of the 3 to go down. Not certain but there is a gap now and they're two teams that cannot defend. To pick a third to go down with them... -West Brom? Lost to Palace today and sold one of their best players to us already. Oops. -Sunderland? They like red cards and depend on midfielders for goals. -Norwich? Can't buy a goal. I think it's out of those 3. West Ham will be alright, their defence is working well now and with Carroll playing they'll pick up more wins. Swansea should be ok - despite the Laudrup issue they still have players like Bony scoring well now. Palace I think made two very clever signings with Ince and Zaha, a bit of quality that will show in games like today. Ultimately the teams with good forwards are getting the results at this stage. Long and Jelavic are doing it for us (and will likely be the reason we stay up), Villa have Benteke who may be hit and miss but the hits seem to be enough, and Stoke have Crouch. When you look at Fulham, Cardiff, West Brom, Sunderland and Norwich they simply don't have strikers getting the goals they need.
You boys are alright, fair play to you, except the ones that thought we were down, deluded or what, know your footy Sir Cheshire Ben!...
