Evening chaps. Mightily impressed. Very, very impressive. I'd talk more but I'm going out. The only downside being that stupid Surridge goal celebration.
Calm down cinci mate. Can't see anyone saying we're amazing, we've trashed more teams than Arsenal this season, we've not been "trashed" this season(by the way how many new arseholes do Arsenal want)and our attacking options vs Arsenals is a no contest. Yep that 5 point comfort blanket you've got is wearing a bit thin, but yep its like the 2 points we pissed away last week and the points wrongly taken off us at City wouldn't make the margin even smaller. Arsenal are renowned these days for a top 4 finish and no silverware in the trophy room, Wenger has brainwashed you Bella's big time.
Well, I tried to move on from it by looking at each of the six goals and providing my view of them but you choose to ignore it and continue with the pointless arguing
Look at the facts. You still have 3 very difficult away fixtures to play (Everton, Chelsea and Spurs) against 1 difficult home match (City) . All of our major clashed are now at home (Chelsea, City Spurs) where our record is incredibly good. Hence the points gap is more than likely to close if not disappear. Your 'amazing midfielders' were clearly outclassed today by a Liverpool midfield whose personnel and structure was brought about by injuries. That doesn't sound too "amazing" to me. As for your attacking shortcoming that was clearly displayed on the pitch today and does not bode well for the rest of the season - even if you keep Giroud fit. All in all I am saying with some certainty that you are as a team very far from being as good as you believe yourself to be.
Arsenal are just the best flat track bullies in the league. That's why they're always up there but never actually win anything.
Meh, you were above us 6 weeks ago. You're now 5 points behind. I don't get the 'be afraid' messages. But I do think arsenal and Liverpool will be the two now fighting for 3rd,Spurs and United fighting for 5th (a pleasing thought ) But what's Wenger brainwashed 'us' with exactly? The ability to tar all fans with the same brush?
http://www.sincearsenallastwonatrophy.co.uk #SinceArsenalLastWonATrophy, Nemanja Vidic joined Man Utd, got married, had 3 kids and announced his departure.
What if I told you that trophy didn't actually exist? Have you ever actually seen it in the Arsenal cabinet? Don't let the stewards know you're suspicious though or you'll end up like all those empty seats in your "sell out" stadium #rabbithole
The brainwashing part is down to him proclaiming finishing 4th is as good as a trophy, considering the extra millions it earns it only goes into the owners bonuses and the leftovers into the club bank account, be honest do you or any other Arsenal supporters think that being in the CL to make up the numbers and watch your manager stubbornly refuse to purchase players the club can afford is acceptable?
SINCE ARSENAL LAST WON A TROPHY: - They've spent £227,500,000 on players. - 52 of 92 football league clubs have won a trophy. - Arsene Wenger has earned £63.5 million in wages. - The planet Mercury has orbited the Sun 32 times. - London won the rights to host the Olympics, rebuilt Stafford and then hosted the event. - Juventus have been relegated, promoted and won back to back league titles. - Ex Arsenal players have won 44 medals. - Pep Guardiola retired as a player, became a manger, won 16 trophies with Barcelona, took a year break, returned as a manager and won 2 trophies with Bayern Munich.SINCE ARSENAL LAST WON A TROPHY:
Martin Skrtel's two early strikes took Liverpool to 22 goals from set-pieces this season, more than any other Premier League side. Arsenal, with 43%, have conceded the highest proportion of set-piece goals in the league.
Hi all. amazing result today, truly amazing. I don't know what factors influenced it, whether ramsey and flamini were that huge a miss or whether our tactics were just spot on. I thought coutinho in the past couple of games against the bigger sides (at home) played midfield exactly as i wondered if he could and he was a big key to it. After coming off v villa i thought perhaps he didn't get it so how rodgers and him have turned it around in short order is amazing. roll on next weekend frankly. Its a big test for us. can be be men away form home or be timid.
My ratings: Mingolet 6: Silly early flap, but a couple of good saves when tested. Flanagan 8: would have been 9 and motm had it not been for that awful challenge. Skrtel 9: My motm. 2 goals took away from an outstanding defensive display Toure 6: Didn't do too much harm apart from wellying the ball into the stands once too often for Stevie's liking. Cissokho 7: Is he trying to earn a contract or something? Best performance for us yet. Henderson 7: Quietly effective. Is the debate now closed about him or Allen? Should be. Gerrard 7: Would have been 8 but for giving away a daft pen. Coutinho 8: What a ball for that fourth goal! Lovely footballer. Suarez 8: genius who scared the **** out of the arsenal defence. Sterling 9: Better and better each game. Love him so much I'll have his fifth child. Sturridge: 8 Took his goal well and his movement was just phenomenal.
