    City: 67
    Liverpool: 63
    Arsenal: 48
    Chelsea: 47
    Man Utd: 39
    Everton: 37
    Tottenham: 31

    Absolutely ruthless..

    Sunderland 1 - 3 Liverpool
    Liverpool 3 - 1 Crystal Palace
    Liverpool 4 - 1 West Brom
    Liverpool 4 - 0 Fulham
    Liverpool 5 - 1 Norwich
    Liverpool 4 - 1 West Ham
    Tottenham 0 - 5 Liverpool
    Liverpool 3 - 1 Cardiff
    Stoke 3 - 5 Liverpool
    Liverpool 4 - 0 Everton
    Liverpool 5 - 1 Arsenal

Also put 3 past Everton at Goodison.. We're evolving in to one of the best attacking teams in the league, some of our play today was absolutely breathtaking. And if you take away the SAS goals, we've still scored 25 elsewhere.

Love the direction we're going in.

    <cheers>

just have to hope it counts for something at the end of the season.

dont want to put a downer on the thread lol as we are playing good football, but look who is top of the table, and its all about keeping clean sheets as well as scoring goals.

  3. SAS have 38 of those 63 goals too.

    Top Scorers:

    23: Suarez
    15: Agüero & Sturridge
    12: Hazard & Yaya Touré

PS...Have I mentioned that I stuck a fiver on Sturridge @ 8-1 at the start of the season? Damn those nine games he missed.

He's starting to catch up, a couple of hat-tricks and you never know <ok>

  5. Can't see him overtaking Suarez, can't see anyone getting near. He's in a dry spell ATM but he'll hit form again before too long.

Suarez is scoring less since Sturridge came back because he is playing more of a support role.

If Suarez kept same singleton striker role he'd have 5 more goals by now.

  9. Suarez was still scoring when Danny got back into the side, plus he is still getting the chances too. Luis has clocked up a fair few assists in that time though, to both Studge and Sterling.

I'm too lazy to compute the numbers but... I'd be interested to see goal averages for Luis with and without Sturridge.

Then take his average in games without Sturridge and apply that to games with Sturridge to see "what he theoretically would have scored"

He still scores a bunch... but being in a less forward position does score less (I think: numbers may prove me wrong)

But then you would have to account for
    Quality of opposition
    Wind direction
Abuse suffered from fans and media
    Outside Temperature
    Sun positioning
Whether they had argued with the missus or not that morning
If they have new born kids or not etc....
    :)

Personally I prefer the way we have different players scoring across the team rather than just Suarez, I guess thats sort of obvious anyway but when we played with Suarez as the lone striker, we didn't have that same intent from the other players to get into the goal scoring areas.

Had Sturridge not missed them 9 games, I reckon he'd be pretty close to Suarez right about now.

Even when Suarez ws banging them in last season, a lot was said about how he's not a natural striker and more of a creative player than can score goals. Probably the typical number 7 position.

Think that's reflected when Sturridge is brought back in that he is the striker and Suarez is there to provide for him. If they both played together across the whole season, Sturridge would probably score more goals, but Suarez would probably triple the amount of assist Sturridge gets.

    That's why they're a great combo <ok>
