This game is tomorrow. We are currently 4th with 50 points. 5 clear of Everton and 6 clear of Spurs. But they obviously have a game in hand. If it is a draw: LFC - 50 Everton - 46 Spurs - 45 Little changes. We'll keep a weeks cushion between us and both teams and both drop valuable points. Everton win: LFC - 50 Everton - 48 Spurs - 54 Everton stay on our tail but Spurs look nicely out of the way. Spurs win: LFC - 50 Spurs - 47 Everton - 45 Spurs sneak to three points behind us but we get to see Everton drop (at least temporarily) off our tail. Vote!
Gotta be a draw means both teams more than one games points behind. But yes finishing 9 vs 9 would be nice too. But here, after Spurs got buggered by us at home and watched what we did to their superior north London rivals today they'll need the Imodium for the match at Anfield....
I've gone for the draw but, TBH, I'm more concerned about Spurs than Everton. I think they have the better players/squad and are a very good prospect should they get on a run.
I would want a draw. But when watching the game, I will side towards the Blues. Massive respect for what they have dont this season. I know im not supposed to feel this way, but I always want Everton to do well, just as long as they finish behind us.
No wonder people think this league is dodgy as **** if teams like Spurs can pick up ten points by losing a single game
Everton win. Spurs haven't been great this year but are still only a few points behind. Their squad is better and stronger than Everton's in my opinion. Would be more worried about them starting to perform and catching us.
But Spurs have a tactically naive manager. I want a draw - If not a Spurs win. I just feel Everton have a better 'team' than Spurs and a much better manager.
