Vorm, Rangel, Chico, Williams (c), Davies, Britton, de Guzman, Emnes, Dyer, Routledge, Bony. subs Tremmel, Amat, Taylor, Canas, Hernandez, Lamah, Ngog. So Marvelous Marvin does play. Great to see Chico in. Good management.
I think we should give Monk more time, but I think if we lose today that we won't have enough time whoever is in charge. These are the easier games. We lost to WHU (bottom 3) and if we lose today to another bottom 3 club, I can't see Monk or anyone else turning things around that fast. 3 of the next 6 league matches after today are away to Liverpool, Everton and Arsenal. If we lose today I don't think Monk should be sacked or anything like that. I just think it will show that we're too far gone for anyone to save us. At that point all we can do is hang on in there and try our best. I'd still give Monk a chance and still support him and the team. I think we should beat Cardiff today, but if the team feel under too much pressure, who knows what could happen. But I think we'll win comfortably. You can never tell with football though.
Plastic (and valley I suppose): I'm writing serious posts - If you only have "clever" oneliners to post please don't... Don't need BS...
I am being serious and I assume valley is as well. That description is spot-on for Laudrup. It is no joke. It's why he was sacked.
You mean Laudrup has no experience, tactical skills, respect and man management. You're crazy. Swansea was a 2# half team because of Laudrups managerial skills. Furthermore man management CAN be other Things than a hairdryer treatment!!!
Can't motivate the squad, no tactical skills to change things this season. Damn straight I was being serious
Pozuelo out with hip injury so not many options in the hole apart from Emnes. Could have played JDG in there with Canas alongside Leon.
this is such a huge game there's so much at stake, it's going to come down to mental strength and desire. i hope monk really has them up for it but at the same time our players keep their composure, we don't need any red cards from us. i'm going for 2-0 to the swans and a move up the table. hope both sets of fans behave. COYS!
Unless this is the plan for the second half. Maybe Canas isn't quite ready to start a match yet but will be fit enough for the last 25-30 minutes.
