    I think Kinnear's imput will be sorely missed today, I therefore have to let my head rule my heart and go for 3-1 to the lads.

    However Chelsea are a strong side so it won't be easy.

    We're not playing bad are we? (so far). Today is all about the performance for me. Any sort of result would be a very unlikely bonus, but if we keep playing football at least its a step up from last week.

    That's how it works. We're playing a class side away, I didn't expect anything. I'd just prefer us not to collapse and focus our efforts on the Spurs game, which is winnable.

    I'm glad that Yanga-Mbiwa isn't playing, since Pardew would probably blame him and have an excuse to bring Taylor back in again.

    Despite the scoreline I didn't think that was too bad. At least we're creating chances and keeping our shape against a very good team - far better than last week's ****e. At the risk of giving BRS a heart attack, I've thought we've looked far more dangerous when Sammy has got on the ball than when Ben Arfa has had it. I've been impressed with Santon too.
