Well, he's a left sided attacker (winger or just off the front) who plays for Rennes, and is currently their longest serving player. That's pretty much all I know, so here's a video from one of his more recent matches:

He's been out injured since the turn of the year, which may effect his proposed transfer.

Think this would settle some of the panic just so people knew we at least have 1 new wide option banked already. Looked like an intelligent player there, just worried given the free transfers we've made in recent seasons. Trust Comolli to find us the cheap french gems though so would be good to hear.

and i heard he was staying in france and was glad!

    1. his injury record is degen like (pre joining us and it got worse)

    2. his scoring and assists are not spectacular in the lsightest

    3. never got a look in for france.

all in all this guy is singulalrly unimpressive in my view and is far to like the old rafa days for my liking.

He seems like a good player. Would be a welcome addition to the squad.

<laugh> That whole... struggling to run for 5 minutes thing was just to give the opposition a chance.

Being widely reported by the broadsheets now, might have to remember you and your source mate! You're now officially an 'ITK' haha

With regards the player, how long is it since we've had a pace merchant on the left wing? Our history of free transfers worries me but these are always players who have an obvious LACK of pace. When it comes to the french league i'm gonna trust Comolli on this one, and also he's not gonna be on the wages of the likes of Jovanovic and is younger. Also its not like we're signing him instead of someone else, like we've been used to, hopefully getting him on merit.

Skrtels nips is right, Im impressed Red Hadron Collider, mucho respecto, telling us a rumour which actually seems to be found to be true about 10 hours later

Please tell Mata,Cazorla and Aguero are due at Melwood tomorrow....actually Im not too fussy ,next week would be ok

I think he may be siimilar to Aurelio, in that he looks agood player ,but maybe made of glass

I'm still waiting for confirmation that Babel was ever on the pitch? Ha Got me there though.

Guess i meant an actual winger, not some converted forward who resented every time he was played on the wing and had absolutely no left foot. Mark Gonzalez is closest i can think but by the time we got his work permit he was pretty much back on the plane anyway. Also not counting Riera as he just wasn't very quick. Last season after Babel had gone the biggest threats we had coming off the bench in terms of taking people on were Joe Cole, Jovanovic, and N'Gog.

Someone like Walcott doesn't have the best end product, but he tends to cause the teams like Blackpool great trouble largely due to speed alone. We however were very one-pace and have been for a while.

This lad was touted about a month ago that he was in talks with you boys on Skysports. He has had a couple of injuries but by all accounts is very quick, works hard and I doubt will whinge if he is on the bench. Back up for Suarez I guess
