We have competed with every team this season bar the one game at the Emirates where you bossed the midfield completely. I didn't say we played well in the first half at Southampton but haven't written off every first half of football that we don't score in as rubbish because I'm not as simple minded as to think you have to be several goals up by half time to be playing well. I've seen games finish as low scoring draws where both teams have played very well but you'd immediately write it off as a poor performance because it isn't an emphatic win by 45mins in.
To be fair, I didn't think you guys were that bad in our 2-0 game, we basically scored in the right moments, until both times we scored, you guys were looking tight.
I don't need any humble pie I still think your midfield and defense isn't good enough to win the league. You played well today we were crap and you deserved the win but that doesn't change my opinion on where the weaknesses are in your squad.
Rosicky has to start every big game like I said in the first page and today you saw why. He has the balls to take the game to the opposition and that speeds up our play. Rosicky for Ozil against Man Utd.
Having now seen the goals, you can see that we were the architects of our own downfall. All credit to Liverpool for the way they took us apart, but every goal we conceded we should have defended. The silver lining of this is that it's in our control to put it right in the next game. It's not like Kos and Mert to have such an abomination of a game, let's hope it's a kick up the arse for the next game.
im interested to see what you are going to use to bail yourself out when we are NO LONGER there . Its ok saying " ok we didnt play great but look where we are "...you can get away with that for a while . But if we dont sort out the problem of pace and creativity ,and STARTING GAMES FROM THE FIRST WHISTLE i guarantee you , we wont be able to say that for much longer .

Also, as SJW said, not starting Rosicky was a mistake. When he came on, he was by far our best player, and our tempo upped considerably with him on the pitch.
