Well that seems to be obvious, you don't get offered a new contract at PAFC is a good starter.

Marcel Seip has won a court case against Blackpool for the time he was on loan there between Sept and Dec 2009,the year they got promoted.

In a court case he won £72.206 plus legal costs and interest for his share of their promotion jackpot, having started so many games in that period and helped them gain so many points towards their promotion push.

So leave Argyle and the cloud is lifted from your life, seems to be the answer.

Will some of the remaining players think that doing a Bolasie will change their luck.

Well you could look at it that way Plymborn but Seip was entitled to the money he won as he was instumental in helping them to a few important victories. I think we will have to wait for next season to see if Noone, BWP, R.Johnson and Bolasie truely benefit from leaving us.

Noone must be a bit disappointed to not have made more first team starts for Brighton so far. Maybe we could try and get him on loan...LOL.

Yes it can be hard breaking into a winning team no matter how good you are.

Mind you Plymborn, look at Mackie.

He was always a hard-worker but not the most technically gifted striker in the world and after leaving us he is now one of QPR's best (and favourite) players.
Admittedly Taarabt is the star man but Mackie has been called up for international duty with Scotland and is now a Premiership player, his cloud was certainly lifted after he left us.

It was sad to see Halmosi move on, such a skilled player for us.........moved on into oblivion didn't he ?...........did he get injured, I can't remember.

Halmosi? He was at Hull during their stint in the Premiership, was one of their star players.
I think he is at an Hungarian club now. I am not 100% on that however.

There was talk of us signing him in the 09/10 season, but he was branded as too expensive. Wage demand too high.

(Shame they did not consider that more often, we would not be in this mess!)

I don't think he really ever broke properly into their first team, became disillusioned and possibly picked up an injury, if my memory serves me right.

I'm sure someone can put us right.......but yes he did go home eventually, quite recently I think, his name was mentioned at Plymouth last season, would have been beyond us financially as you rightly said.

Halmosi only featured only 18 times for Hull and all of those in the 1st of 3 years on their books.

I remember watching Hull on the box in the Premier League - they were 1 goal down with 15 to play and somebody else got brought on as sub in his position - it was obvious then it wasn't working!

Bad luck alone is not always a problem and is self-explanatory, bad luck. However when repeated bad luck is not addressed and reversed then it sets in motion a different beast altogether, the downward spiral of demise.

When bad luck gets out of hand then it leads to serious trouble that can not be reversed.

I can't see how Argyle can get themselves out of the spiral of demise until we reach the lowest position possible. League 2 is not the end of the drop by a long shot. Even if the ownership issue gets resolved then there will be ZERO funds available to reverse the decline. The mess is so severe that even if 20,000 turned up for every game next season then the club would still be in the South West Lollipop league before any of the money actually became available to buy good players with. The club somehow has to compete in League 2 next year with no money and so far no team.
Who is going to want to come here? even on a free ticket? Any player signing for Argyle will know that chances are high he is not going to be getting paid in the near future. It means that we will be scraping the barrel and only able to get players to sign who are desparate and have no chance of getting a contract at other 'normal' clubs. Picture yourself as an up and coming young player, would you want to sign for Argyle? A quick check of our current status would have them running to the hills. Even our own youth don't want to hang around and are taking the first available exit.

One in the same I would say ONB. We really must have been evil SoB´s in a previous life to be lumbered with this little ray of sunshine. AK47 would be my method of choice.

From his opinions on Argyle I think the Barn Park is his end of choice. To be honest Plym Millwall may have a bit of a reputation but I wouldn´t wish that even on them!!!

This thread started with Marcel Seip, just remembered that we allowed him to play for Blackpool against us and of course he banged another nail in our coffin by scoring for them, could only happen to Argyle..........plus his wife, stapleton's daughter cheering him on all the way............yes it could only happen to Argyle.

Hiya ONB things all good outside of Argyleworld. Though apparently I am an big meanie and unwelcoming, though the source of that accusation is mentally unstable so it is not concerning me unduely. No it is clear that the poor soul has gone way past the edge of redemption though fair play you did your best.

As for feeling pepe I can neither confirm or deny the allegations :emoticon-0127-lipss:
